@skullbabe I have already said any hacking that went on should be called out and the perpetrators held to account. That would include as a child.

My comments are entirely due to Harry's behaviour as a you adult and adult. All of which are despicable.

You cannot focus on one minor issue which he should be recompensed for, and ignore appalling behaviour, which continues to this day, including taking drugs while he has young children.

Whaeanui · 28/03/2023 08:36

Exactly. They just wanted to sell papers.

That anyone thinks they are the reason is laughable at this point. They didn’t care scout justice or the Lawrence family. Their only motive is to sell papers.

Whaeanui · 28/03/2023 08:38

taking drugs while he has young children.

oh how ridiculous. IT IS LEGAL THERE. If you drink with young children, which every British person I know does because boy does this country love a drink, then you are being a hypocrite.

Is the court case about Harry and drugs? No.

And calling it 'a minor issue' is bizarre.

It is about hacking, illegal activities, bugging cars and houses, bribing Police to obtain information, illegal practices to obtain medical and financial records. And more

KrasiTime · 28/03/2023 08:38

Well of course it is. They would be pretty bad as a business if they didn’t want to sell papers!

Anything that reduces the media barons grip on the U.K. is good in my book.

Harry’s hypocrisy betrays his deep-seated solipsism and immaturity. He believes in ‘privacy’ when it comes to things he’d like to keep hidden – but has no qualms about invading the privacy of others.

Just like he believes in a royal hierarchy when it serves to make him ‘more important’ than his cousins but takes exception to it when it makes him much less important than his brother or nephews.

The pretense that he is making a stand for noble principles when he is transparently just pursuing his own interests is laughable.

Spot on.

I am in total agreement with him that the press are intrusive and often out of line, but his hypocrisy is mind blowing. Bit like his drug recommendations

We have heard it endlessly on here. Don't we know. Hypocrisy. Got it. It's like a broken record.

This is about a court case ... Harry, Elton John, Baronness Lawrence, Sadie Frost and others.

Well done all of them for standing up to fight.

purpledalmation · 28/03/2023 08:42

Having just seen a video of Harry entering the court, I have to ask the question...for a man who says he hates the paparazzi and the cameras clicking, why did he go into the main entrances, when all the other claimants quietly entered by the side door?

Oh maybe he likes the press coverage after all?

Rhondaa · 28/03/2023 08:42

'It’s not the daily Mail who brought the killers to justice. Jfc'

I didn't say they say they did? I said they campaigned for his killers to be successfully brought to justice. And they were.

Of course we'll have to see what evidence there is for any intrusion and illegal activity but of course they reported on the case, that is what newspapers do.

Harry hasn't been 'targeted' and 'victimised' all his life by the press.

This is what you said. A child was staked by the press for at least 6 years. Nothing about this what happened to him and his brother during those years by the press was minor. Regardless of his behaviour as an adult - he could murder someone today - it still will not negate the fact that he was targeted and victimised by the press and that he is right to want to go after them.

Elton John was photographed too. He used a side entrance but plenty of footage of him.

His outrage and triggering is all very selective. He doesn't do consistency.

Whaeanui · 28/03/2023 08:47

Anxiety isn’t consistent, trust me. He has also had a lot of therapy in recent years and it helps a lot. There’s things I couldn’t do a year ago, ordinary things, that I can now. I think dissecting someone’s mental health issues and judging how they behave around triggers is a really uncool thing to do. We have such a long long way to go in how we discuss mental health.

It’s a shame this thread is constantly derailed.

'We have heard it endlessly on here. Don't we know. Hypocrisy. Got it. It's like a broken record.'

Ah we're broken records when we offer balance and point out that yes illegal activity is wrong but him bleating on about privacy is just hilarious taking into account he sold his family out to the media, but you're not a broken record with your repeated sycophantic 'go harry!' posts. Got it Grin.

Rhondaa · 28/03/2023 08:50

Roussette · 28/03/2023 08:46

Ah the noble Hugh Grant. Caught getting a BJ from a prostitute. He would have beef with the media wouldn't he.

Whaeanui · 28/03/2023 08:51

yes illegal activity is wrong but

There’s no but. It’s just wrong.

The thread is about this case but has been constantly derailed. It’s pathetic.

But it's endless. We've heard it. It is repeated ad nauseum. I read the posts. I know.

Bleating on. Hypocrisy. Pubic hair, Bum fluff. Privacy. Sold his family out blah blah blah...

Derailing of a thread about a court case.

I've said 'Go Harry' about 3 times, that's two words! Just for you... a fourth...

GO HARRY!!!!!

FFS. Do you ever ever give any one any credit for anything? Ever?

It was decades ago. He sat and talked about it quite humbly. But for that, everything he says is totally irrelevant?

I'd had for anyone you know in real life to make a mistake.

Roussette · 28/03/2023 08:55

Oh I'm very forgiving. Someone mocked in the media for using a prostitute is not gogn to forget that though are they, so sorry if I don't think his ramblings on US telly are particularly relevant.

However I'd have little tolerance for someone gossiping about others and sharing say, private conversations on fb then the same person complaining about others gossiping about them.

2 things. Illegal activity is wrong but so is invading people's privacy particularly if that is your own family for a grubby book. We can say both things are not ok.

Roussette · 28/03/2023 08:46

Well said Hugh exactly right!

purpledalmation · 28/03/2023 09:06

@Roussette At least Elton tried to be a little more private. Harry wants to be seen and photographed as it ups his brands profile.
