"Kate's Rebranding Masterclass May Finally See off Meghan"

MrsMaxDeWinter · 08/02/2023 14:13

"Five months since she moved up to the second tier of the monarchy, the Princess has started beefing up her top team to make sure she succeeds not only with her “life’s work” on child development, but also with the task of besting Meghan Markle."

Why does Meghan have to look bad for Kate to look good? Why does Meghan need to be bested or seen off? Why is it a competition?

How nice Hmm Your post is literally making up shite and quite frankly I have no idea what you are talking about.
You keep following me round to pick at every single thing I post but hey ho.... I think my posts today all about this has now been illustrated quite well.

Please stop @ ing me, I don't want to know.

@Roussette

I have seen you being harassed by that poster, who has harassed me too, and I believe you. Take it easy.

Indeed that poster perfectly demonstrates what Rousette was talking about

I have witnessed roussette and the other regular posters harassed all over the show. Myself included.

I have noticed an 'up the stakes' take on things. A regular poster says something, of-cut usually, then out of the blue an NC comes on here and opens a new 'conspiracy theory' that is somehow related to what that regular has posted? I think this one is created to make regular pro H&M posters sound bonkers? Because you then get quotes from the pro H&M posters sprinkled all over the place as showing them as nutters.

This follows on the foot of the 'usernumber' nonsense as well as the NC to a similar name to regulars.

The gaslighting is off the scale.

MN has come a long way, I tell you 😂

am I missing something? I think I know what was said about William, and why is that more scandalous than what has been said about Meghan?

Well I suppose we all have our own perspective. I think accusing a married man with children of indulging in some strange homosexual activities is more scandalous. Has anyone suggested something similar about MM? I hope not as it is very low, these people have lives, partners, children. Making up that sort of thing is not on in my book.

ancientgran · 11/02/2023 15:37

Roussette · 11/02/2023 12:46

Were there threads started on here about this alleged sexual activity he was supposed to like?

I deffo saw it on Twitter by the weird Sussex Squad but I didn't see threads on here about it.

As I said, it was mentioned within royal threads, I saw that.

It was definitely on here, I tell you there was a lot of glee and downright unpleasantness going on, not to mention some people going off to see what it meant and coming back and saying they wished they hadn't looked.

I don't use twitter so I don't know what was on there or anything about a Sussex Squad weird or otherwise.

I was surprised it went on for a long time, don't know if it was ever taken down but as I said I think it would be hard to say worse things were said about MM or H on here although I don't come on royal threads often. I think there are two extremes and both are rather ridiculous.

notanotheroneagain · 11/02/2023 15:49

The p word was discussed extensively on twitter, even by random people who don't usually post about any of the royals.
It originated from a site that is religiously followed by the 'royalists' or I think they call themselves 'cambitches' or Kate something.

'Weird Sussex squad' had nothing to do with it, though they did laugh quite hard like everyone else. I saw this, they love screenshots and proof, so I see them sometimes on my timeline.

I came on here to have a quick look, and it was not discussed. Strange that W&K fans are even bringing it up.

Have a read on here if you don’t believe. Some pretty awful things said.

Royal Family
Did William really cheat on Kate?

Well I brought it up, I'm not a W&K fan, I did see it on here, I wasn't the only one and I brought it up as a balance to people saying terrible things were said about H&M and not about W&K. Personally I found it worse than what was said about MM but even if you don't think that you must think it is just as bad. I mean how would you feel reading that about your son, husband, father, brother?

I'm not sure why it would be strange to bring it up when people were talking about the slurs on MM or is it only OK to talk about nasty things said about one couple and not the other?

I'd never heard of the Sussex Squad until someone else referred to it and I've never heard of cambitches either. Quite glad I don't look at twitter from what I hear of it.

GloomyDarkness · 11/02/2023 16:15

I think there are two extremes and both are rather ridiculous.

I think there are many of us thinking and saying this - and in many cases then being accuse of being the "other side" and part of a huge conspiracy.

I honesty can't work out what going on there - delusions, shit shirring or some bizarre PR campaign that seem to do as much damage as help the supposed side.

I think Meghan has much to admire as well as criticize and gets a lot of unfair negative press on-line, Harry is a prize self deluded self serving tit which he chose himself to expose to the world- and RF is an institution that most UK citizen are meh about that we are stuck with for the foreseeable.

notanotheroneagain · 11/02/2023 16:55

William is a prize self deluded self serving tit.

There, corrected that for you.

So sick and tired of this name calling of H&M.

So sick and tired of childish name calling of William, Catherine, Harry and Meghan. I think that covers it.

pilates · 11/02/2023 17:01

notanotheroneagain - you’ve proved you are just as bad

purpledalmation · 11/02/2023 17:07

Christopher Bouzy of Bot Sentinal and who appeared on their netflix reality tv show Tweeted bitchy comments about william and kate, so its swings and roundabouts.

No I did not.

It pinches on the other foot, doesn't it?

Just stop it.

notanotheroneagain · 11/02/2023 17:09

No I did not.

To be honest you did lose the moral high ground with that post, fair enough to object to the one you didn't like but to do just the same is just the same.

pilates · 11/02/2023 17:17

Don’t tell me to stop it - who do you think you are?
I haven’t name called

notanotheroneagain · 11/02/2023 17:21

Yet, you keep your mouth closed when it comes to insulting H&M.

Why speak up now?

I changed the name so people like the poster and yourself can see how unsettling it feels when it comes to others.

Were you expecting H&M' stance of turning the other cheek? So posters can say whatever they want, H&M defenders must do like H&M and just take it all in? I am not H&M.
You, yourselves seem to go lower and lower!

pilates · 11/02/2023 17:35

I am not engaging with you notanotherone - you are coming across immature.

Ohnonevermind · 11/02/2023 12:59

@Roussette

You posted - this year 2023 - that you thought William had an affair and last week posted that you don’t comment on personal relationships. I was struck by the hypocrisy of this statement and called you out on it

quite different to ‘your truth’ above, and calling me ‘pathetic’ for pointing out the hypocrisy.

i just stopped believing you after the Hello article (which you denied linking to until a number of posters called you out it).

so thirsty !

Wow Rousette you have your very own stalker 😎

William is a prize self deluded self serving tit.

There, corrected that for you.

That not what I think so hardly a correction.

TBF I don't think much at all about William at all - you can say what you want about any of them no skin of my nose. I'm not wild about any of them TBH or the system we have - more resigned to the status quo.

I do find the misogynistic comments grating - and they are directed at Meghan and other female royals - like Kate - and and the lack of knowledge about UK from very opinionate posters irritating.

However Harry book has made me think much less of him - his words not anyone else's. Words he chose to put out there for public consumption.

Ironically main issues I have with him is his obvious misogyny and complete lack of awareness about how many privileges he's enjoyed in life - privileges my families working class background haven't afforded my family.

You may have a different view to me but that's okay - I'm sorry my comment made you so upset - but I am allowed to think whatever I want.

I do once again find it bloody odd that not being For Harry - means I must be for William.

William a very privileged young man with opportunists not afforded to many in UK though there are downsides to that as well - best you can say is he appears self aware enough to know this and act somewhat accordingly.

Samcro · 11/02/2023 17:56

I have to say neither William or Harry are young men. They are both pushing middle age.

GloomyDarkness · 11/02/2023 18:03

Samcro · 11/02/2023 17:56

I have to say neither William or Harry are young men. They are both pushing middle age.

Fair point and I'm not sure why I typed that as he is pretty much my age.

I think typing and speaking got confused for me -,my language centers aren't great - and I was saying err excuse me young man to DS to get his attention and dealing with cat and DD1 wanting cat vitamins now and sorting tea and typing.

MarshaBradyo · 11/02/2023 18:05

They often get the young attribute

It is odd as they aren’t that young anymore. I think because I remember images of them as they grew up and they were a bit younger than me

But others use it too, and you see it in the media

Maybe being a royal male is a bit infantilising - they don’t get full rounded careers

notanotheroneagain · 11/02/2023 23:49

However Harry book has made me think much less of him - his words not anyone else's. Words he chose to put out there for public consumption.

He is correcting the narrative that has been sent out by tabloid rats. Yet, you don't seem to have had any problem with the words that rags 'chose to put out there for public consumption' about Harry?

William a very privileged young man with opportunists not afforded to many in UK though there are downsides to that as well - best you can say is he appears self aware enough to know this and act somewhat accordingly

William is not 'self aware' anything. His self awareness seems to be that he is looking forward to being the next king and is first and foremost a 'firm' man, before his family.

Luredbyapomegranate · 12/02/2023 00:33

MrsMaxDeWinter · 08/02/2023 17:33

Indeed. You would think the Telegraph would be aware of that, yet this is the headline, and the angle they chose, making Meghan the standard, and Kate, the competitor who has to "best her" and "see her off". Very odd.

It’s not odd it’s just to generated eyeballs, which it has.
