Did William really cheat on Kate?

I keep hearing this rumour and I'm just curious to know where it comes from? Where is the evidence?

What a poor excuse for a journalist then. They weren't stopped from writing about Andrew, were they - they could have written about him at any time. But so they could have access to other members of the RF they chose not too. That's not a legal threat, that's 'if you write something horrible about a member of the family, you're not going to be given access to anyone else in the family.' Which family wouldn't do the same?

Also - William and Kate don't give interviews, do they (have I missed something)? Seems a bit odd.

So, i googled ‘Kate Middleton Prince William interviews abc us’ and this came up:

Thank you, @Morestrangerthings - I did google that, Katie Couric spoke to William and Harry in 2012 at the time of the Jubilee. It was all a bit anodyne, as expected, with respect given to the Queen and her work. What interested me was Harry saying how he wanted to get married and have children and was waiting for the right woman to come along and take him on. I thought that was quite touching and genuine.

I could find 2 interviews in 2012 and 2015 but Harry has been on a number of times since leaving m,
