You say it’s my choice to post what I post and I agree! But Maireas you have responded to many of my posts and have accused me and other Republicans on this thread of posting in order to be personally vindictive towards K & W, and as that is patently and literally untrue, yes I do find it insulting thanks!
Apart from anything else, you cannot possibly know what is in my mind, or my intention, when I post!
Respectfully, I think you would do well to step back and gain some perspective on this issue.
By all means take the higher moral ground and make a stand on malicious gossip - good for you - but at the same time why not try and take on board the points that other people have made about William’s upbringing, the examples he has within his own immediate family, the rather “different” attitude that many aristocrats have towards fidelity, the example of many his forebears, the historical importance of lineage and property, and you might come to the conclusion that it wouldn’t be an unusual thing for William to do, given his background.
Many of us have acknowledged that we don’t know for sure, just that it wouldn’t be out of step with his background. That’s quite far from being personally insulting to him or his missus.
As I said before, even as a Republican, I can see that Kn& W are doing a good job - however we are all “victims” of our upbringing to some degree.
I don’t understand why you won’t allow me my own personal perspective on this tbh!
If truth be told , I am not really interested in the individual members of the RF, except to note that they seem to get themselves in to trouble without any extra help or encouragement or comment from us lowly commoners. I am interested in British and Irish history and Republicanism.
So do you think we can put this argument to bed please?
