I keep hearing this rumour and I'm just curious to know where it comes from? Where is the evidence?

Reporting it now that scurrilous rumours about Harry were mentioned?

yet William and Kate are free game?

I just woke up. The whole thing is just ugly.

The latest polls show Kate is now the most popular royal in the US.

Someone is clearly rattled.

but again - the rumours about Harry assaulting sex workers are both more disturbing and more plausible. Let’s see them examined. Several people who knew him in the army have been discussing it on army forums for years

The most popular royal as her popularity has dropped less than everyone else's. That's hardly a great position. The one who has lost popularity but lost less than the others have.

media don’t just get hold of a juicy Rumours and Just run Wilde with it .

Bezos and Lauren’s affair was confirmed with texts that AMI got hold of, and as later was confirmed by Bezos attorneys it wasn’t just texts but pictures too, this is what Media outlets do they buy all the copy rights ,
if affairs rumours were circulating for years and the media got a whiff, wouldn’t they do everything to get hold of a message or phone call/ exchanged through roses phone /email?.

And if you shagged a famous royal wouldn't you be absolutely sure not to leave a trave of evidence? Delete all messages including any backups (or just make sure no written evidence exists in the first place). Doesn't mean it didn't happen. In fact I'm always astonished as how bad some people in the public eye are at covering their tracks. There must be a lot more - they're just a bit cleverer about it.

After DB got done over by the hairdresser he moved upmarket to aristos allegedly as they keep their mouth shut..... 😁

I mean that’s how the NDA’s work but sure 😂 I couldn’t give two hoots about any of the royal family either way so don’t know why I’m even engaging with this!

Ah, so the NDA applies to what YOU can say but not to what your claimed contacts who apparently signed the agreements can say. How interesting!

Where does this Harry sex worker story come from?

From the same Blind Gossip sites that the PW affair rumour started on.

I hate to disillusion you, but honestly you would be staggered at how dumb most people are about these things. Even the ones who think they are being clever. Google search histories (as they try to work out the best way to hide their tracks) can be illuminating. 🤣🤣

stillavid · 21/01/2023 12:09

You never know what goes on in people's relationships that's for sure.

However, I do hope that since Kate clearly has a very close relationship with her parents that if William did have an affair with one of their friends, that her parents would have supported her in leaving him. It isn't the 1950's.

I actually think Kate would much prefer Pippa's life - married to a nice billionaire without all the scrutiny.

Peverellshire · 21/01/2023 12:14

@MrsFinkelstein I believe Tom Bower also alludes to this in Revenge.

HildasLostSock · 21/01/2023 12:15

I doubt its true. 1) they are in the public eye enough that if their relationship was strained or one or both unhappy it would be visible/they wouldn't be able to hide it over a long period. 2) tabloids would do anything for a juicy story (I doubt they've changed since the phone hacking scandal) that they'd be all over it like a rash, consequences for anyone involved be damned. Anything for sales/circulation/clicks.

stillavid · 21/01/2023 12:16

Also wasn't the implication by Harry that Camilla's office leaked the affair story? Henry William being furious about leaks a few years back?

Serenster · 21/01/2023 12:18

The Daily Mail was all over it for six months or so within the limitations of the super injunction

Back on yet another one of these threads to point out that the one thing that we can be absolutely sure of is that there is no super injunction (or no normal one either).

Ask yourself if anyone in the UK press or overseas press has ever reported that Prince William has obtained an injunction in the last few years to stop something being reported?

Or if any press outside of the UK has ever reported that Prince William has taken court proceedings to prevent the UK press being allowed to report on an affair?

Given how big of a global story this would be if it was true, and given that both of these scenarios would be perfectly legal even if William did have an injunction/superinjunction (and no “cosy contract” with the overseas press not to publish negative stories either, as is claimed by many posters is the case in the UK), the fact that there is absolute crickets on this topic worldwide means we can be certain there is no injunction.

She was always going to marry a nice billionaire...if she didn't want it to be a prince she didn't need to.

But I'd prefer Pippa's life too. All the money, all the privilege, all the connections but none of the shite.

Spck · 21/01/2023 12:22

I would imagine in those sort of circles though getting the future Queen role is seen as the pinnacle.

stillavid · 21/01/2023 12:24

I really doubt it, I seriously can't imagine anyone wanting to marry into the RF.

Same with the bass guitarist of Coldplay super rich but no hassle when they go out or twats going up to him and saying they will fix him.

Yes - as Meghan told us, her UK friends said - “Don’t do it, the press will destroy your life”

AmazonianAvatar · 21/01/2023 12:27

I read the affair rumours started after Harry was photographed sat with Rose at an event which sent jealous Meg into a rage! She knew Rose was a good friend of Kate and William’s. Apparently the rumours took off after Meg had deliberately spread it around at her baby shower. Did the rumours start in the US?

Also read about the beating up sex workers blind gossip. Disgusting idea and an odd thing to make up IMO.

If the RF hushed up Harry’s drug taking and if they buried that alleged story, his cries of they protected William not me without saying what from sound like a massive deflection and deliberate attempt to make people think the affair rumours are true which is a horrific thing to do to his brother, his sister in law and his niece and nephews.

I think if there was an affair, Harry would definitely have put it in Spare or referred to it. He desperately needed a boost in popularity against William, to make his and Kate’s marriage look fake as opposed to his own true love story and that would have helped massively. The other books will focus on his new life I think, Spare and the dog bowl incident was as salacious as it’ll get.

Dahlietta · 21/01/2023 12:35

Are you joking? It's not like you can marry or even fall in love with Prince William by accident, is it? If you weren't interested in the gig, you'd steer clear of him. He's not irresistible.

Wiluli · 21/01/2023 12:42

while you don’t see much here the magazines abroad have no issue putting stuff up . In Spain and Portugal was very publicised asa a example . I do believe he did and does it , more than once .
