I haven't seen hide-nor-hair of Meghan since the book release which is uncharacteristic of her. Even with the Montecito floods there was no news. So I'm wondering how this is playing out? Happiness or anger behind closed doors?

She's in the same place she's been for most of the last few years - out of the public eye and living a private life. It's not that hard to tell the difference between the constant threads about her, the Daily Mail click bait linking her to whatever random nonsense it can because it generates views and comments like nothing else and the daily GB news rants about how they wish she'd shut up when they're just thirsty for outrage views, and reality where she's not actually doing anything, just sitting quietly at home no doubt. The obsession would be funny I it wasn't so disturbing.

Oh and the other reason may be a legal reason - simply defence - she needs to detach herself or make no comment as she may have less recourse to defence than Harry if they sued for libel or whatever. Harry could call for a lot more evidence but she would be toasted or any other evidence they have against her doesn't help her.

So probably we won't see her saying a word about it.

Not a lawyer though but would be interested to hear any opinions on their legal stance. Not that Mumsnet can do the work of the army or lawyers that are working on this case by now 😅

All Montecito residents were told to evacuate the area on 9th Janury and we don't know who has returned yet.

A lot of stars are quiet this time of year, awards seasons are coming any they’re being peeled, plumped and prodded to be ready for the red carpet

If my husband had pissed off the Taliban, I'd know where I'd be. I'd be begging my government to give me and my DC a new identity and put me on a private plane to work as a jackeroo on some farm in central Australia.

Hopefully she’s realised the scale of her husband’s mental health issues and has been researching and finding him actual qualified experienced therapists who can help him grow up emotionally and stop thinking he’s the most important thing in the world🤞🤞(and stop him lying and deliberately mis representing stuff….there’s actually a long list of issues they need to address…). In the meantime, let’s enjoy the peace😅.
