I still can't believe he had to plan out his trips to TKMaxx so he could don a disguise and get in and out as speedily as possible. Shopping in TKMaxx takes fucking forever. I remember Alan Carr joking about taking amphetamines just so you could look through all the rails.

TK Maxx is like a jumble sale or charity shop trip, you have got to be in the mood for digging for the good stuff. It's my "I feel like a mooch and I don't need anything particular" shop

As pps have said, there seems to be parity between William and Harry with regard to what accomodation was offered or provided at various stages of adulthood/engagement marriage etc.

I'm a bit bemused at the "eating a takeaway over the sink" comment. I think at that point he said he was living with pa (Prince Charles) Surely the direct heir had a table maybe Harry wasn't allowed to use it or at the very least a lap tray! 🤣

I'm pretty sure that hundreds of people living in mould ridden sub standard council housing wouldn't turn their noses up at it. I've been sort of team H&M but stuff like this I'm not in agreement with. This is along with the tantrum over going to the queens death. They need to wind their heads in a bit on this sort of stuff. At very least 'think it' but don't say it as it's offensive those thousands of poorly housed people.

They probably could have still told a very good story about leaving - press intrusion, leaking from rival offices (which as far as I can work out isn't necessarily claimed to be family sanctioned with the exception of Camilla?), having different goals which didn't fit with the family, stress of trying to work with family...there's loads they could have genuinely said and still have a very interesting tale to tell

But they do seem to have a very "woe is me" mindset and be looking for offense everywhere, and that just winds people up.

I believe the "frat house" referred to the furniture. I doubt it referred to the house.

Though of course you don't have frat houses in the UK, so you wouldn't get that.

I find it is becoming really irritating that a multi-millionaire couple - who indeed received several millions in allowance from his dad, plus her acting residuals - continue to whinge about the free property they were given. They could have spent some of their own money decorating of buying furniture - but they chose not to and now whine about it years later. This was temporary accommodation and 2 larger properties at KP and Frogmore were renovated to their specifications even though within 18 months their chose to live in neither

Does 'frat house' mean male, rich, privileged and too entitled to bother to pick up after themselves or care about their living conditions? Asking for a soror.

Also NC is like a fully serviced property with housekeeping, maintenance, gardening, - and the biggie - security included in the zero rent they paid.

Isn't the security a big part of the appeal especially for those royals who aren't actually entitled to their own - by being in one of the palaces or on one of the Royal estates then they effectively get security by proxy anyway.

I believe that Cressida B has made a very good life for herself (and her own family).

Imagine the shit that she and Chelsy D could rake up if they wanted to. That's why I think Harry is playing a very high stakes game here. Eventually his loose lips will be far too much for someone who knows a great deal about him - could be staff, former staff, exes, family, distant family, even media editors who might feel they have been protecting him from some very lurid stories and goings-on up till now.

In the book H says that he ended the relationship with CB, not the other way around.

Perhaps people could read the book before commenting on its contents?

H knows very well that there are lots of things about him and his life that people could threaten to reveal. That’s why he has revealed them himself.

That isn’t how it was reported at the time. I think we’ve established that at least some of the book is fiction.

why wouldn’t you believe the actual person involved? Are you saying that journalists know more about H than he does? If you actually read his whole book it is full of examples of things that the press plain made up.
