Looks like Harold's having the last laugh...

His publisher has confirmed he's sold 400,000 copies across all formats in ONE DAY. That's probably a record breaking amount for a memoir.

I just think he could be saying publicly what he thinks is expected of him – that even though he's written a book that is so scathing of his family he still wants to be a part of it and still loves them. Yet deep down I think he's already cut his losses.

I suspect neither of the two people in that photo are nice people. But hey they will rule the plebs who will line up and wave little flags at them. Harold won't be ruled by them which gives him the last laugh I guess.

I bought it - and am not embarrassed by it. It is beautifully written - top notch ghost writer - and the clips I have heard are beautifully read by Harry. Sorry to all the Harry haters but I think he has the right to say his piece and he sure as heck was not going to get a fair shake in the UK press. I think he will take a step back now, I dont think this is about attention seeking which will continue, I think they will take a step back now.

I don't know, I just said it might, which is what I read. Meghan is an American, the story has been huge there. We will know when we know!

There is outsell in terms of fastest and then outsell overall, they are different. But both Obama books sold fast and in volume.

If you have Prime it's free on Audible......and the very first words made me chuckle....it starts of "Spare by Prince Harry that's me" he says .... Harry aka Harold does the voiceover for the book.....I think it's quite interesting hearing him read his own book....have a listen to the sample if you like......🔰

It will do well. It is of the moment. Also if he does get bumped off or Megs leaves him and he needs his family, the book will become relevant again. It’s also a bit of royal history as well although if the monarchy falls apart I guess less so.

I’m not getting one though. No interest in his life.

Some people suggesting half price means he gets less money from it. That’s not at all how book publishing works. The publisher decides the discounts and it has no effect on author royalties.

It is a marketing strategy that all resellers use. They want to lure buyers in and lowest price wins.

Totally normal. Not at all indicative of it being a "bad" book.

Thanks, I will.add that to my list. I plan to buy Charles' book from the 90s as well. I want to compare his to Harry's.

I haven't figured put what 4 books.there are supposed to be.

I am really interested in how the sales look in the US. If it does as well as I think it will, all he needs to do is take a step back and wait until after the Coronation. Then release a book about Lesotho.

I thought it would be about the games, but of I were him I would push that back right now.

He may go low while.Meghan releases another podcast this summer and then be back with his 2nd book by Christmas next year.
