I’ll be watching. It’s hard not to!

TodayInahurry · 08/01/2023 14:05

Won’t watch the drug addled liar

Yirk · 08/01/2023 14:05

Happy Valley...no contest!

CulturePigeon · 08/01/2023 14:06

No.

I'll be glued to 'Happy Valley', the amazing police drama on BBC 1 at 9.00 pm. It's absolutely brilliant. Sarah Lancashire and James Norton in particular are superb.

Mind you, I can see James Norton as first choice to play poor Harry in some future dramatisation...

BrownJenkins · 08/01/2023 14:06

I won't be watching it, or Happy Valley.
Call the Midwife and then Netflix for me.

Orangefir · 08/01/2023 14:06

I’m going to watch Haply Valley with an eye on SM/online papers. I think happy valley will be an easier watch!!!!

No.
Late to the Happy Valley party, just started Series 1 so probably more of that.

Brumchum · 08/01/2023 14:07

No not watching.

ThePear · 08/01/2023 14:12

Unfortunately I already know about the mans penis, sexual encounter in a field, and kill count, I’d rather never hear anything about him again. Anyone begging for attention so desperately makes me cringe.

TenoringBehind · 08/01/2023 14:37

No

WouldJudasLeaveIt · 08/01/2023 14:38

Happy Valley for me.

Slimjimtobe · 08/01/2023 14:38

Happy Valley 100percent

704703hey · 08/01/2023 14:39

Didn't know there was one. It's fast and furious at present.

StarInTheHeavens · 08/01/2023 14:41

I'll watch! At least for the first 5 mins.. I want to see him explain it

SallyLockheart · 08/01/2023 14:41

Slimjimtobe · 08/01/2023 14:38

Happy Valley 100percent

Ditto.

Badger1970 · 08/01/2023 14:44

Not a cat in hell's, I've had enough of his whining this week to last a lifetime.

BBC1 gets our vote hands down.

AutumnCrow · 08/01/2023 14:44

I might watch the Cooper Anderson one when it airs, just to see if CA has chosen to flush all his serious journalistic credentials down the toilet.

I think TB has already done that.

Lampzade · 08/01/2023 14:46

I am sure that the viewing figures will be very high…..

Boulshired · 08/01/2023 14:48

Happy valley, as they are pre recorded they are not going to match the fact the book has already been so exposed.

LiesDoNotBecomeUs · 08/01/2023 14:53

Being offered extracts from P Harry's book and interviews everywhere this week has made me increasingly uncomfortable. (It is true that I have a low embarressment threshold -even on behalf of others/even in films or comedies- so this is perhaps not surprising.)

There is so much oversharing. So little insight. So much to regret in future.

I keep thinking of way people used to pay to visit 'Belam' (London's Bethlem Hospital - a mental assylum in the 1600s) for the entertainment of watching the sick and insane in their distress.

The 'news' at the moment is like a free open day to view one of the inmates as they willingly rip open their clothes and show us their truths.

SirChenjins · 08/01/2023 14:55

I didn’t realise it was on but no, I think I’ve heard enough intimate details of that song of the family this week, plus I wouldn’t be able to watch him without thinking of him getting his bare bum spanked or his frostbitten penis 🤢

As I understand it, Tom Bradby had to submit all his questions in advance for vetting. So I'm thinking there'll be no surprises over Harry's responses. I guess it'll be the same for Cooper Anderson. And both are pre-recorded so won't address the hoohaa. But I think there's a live interview with Michael Strachan on Monday/Tuesday. Maybe that one will be more challenging and journalistic? 😂😂 What am I saying? It'll be more sycophantic crap.

TizerorFizz · 08/01/2023 14:58

Except Harry isn’t an inmate and is choosing to do what he’s doing. I agree that anyone paying to read his book or watch Netflix is a bit over invested though. Won’t be watched in this house. Happy Valley it is.
