I'm feeling a bit sorry for Harry

I feel like he needs his mum more than ever. To put an arm round him and say "enough son".

He needs guidance, he's never had maternal guidance. Its well documented that Williams life has been really enhanced by Kates parents. Harry has never had that and i feel sorry for him.

Harry's book summed up

my wife is wonderful
the media are bastards
my family are bastards.
all I want is a quiet, private life...
... which is why I have spent the last year doing interviews.

nah, no sympathy from me

You missed a bit out at the end…

Why I spend my time doing interviews and writing books to keep the cash coming in

I believe that this is their perception of things, but it’s incredible one sided. We may never hear the other side.

And, with breaking news that the Taliban is now taunting Harry, I think he’s fucked up big time. Nothing good will come of any of this, apart from him feeling he’s got things off his chest. Sad all round.

But it’s not one sided because the RF fed us their side or ‘lies’ through the press leaks. Harry and Meghan are just correcting those and telling us what actually happened. If they didn’t everyone would continue to believe what is leaked from the palace. I would want to do the same if I was them. Enough is enough

But he’s not telling the truth. It’s easy to check his stories.

He writes about his phone call at school to tell
him the Queen Mother had died. We KNOW he was skiing in Switzerland at the time, not at school.

He said Camilla leaked information about her first meeting with William. We KNOW that she sacked her aide when she discovered that the aide had told her husband (who told a colleague, who told a journalist) what was said.

There are so many things that it’s easy to disprove. He’s mentally unwell, but he’s also lying about a lot of things

It’s what you are choosing to believe (stories and press reports). I believe Harry 100 percent. He lived with them, he would know exactly what happened.

LavenderHillMob · 11/01/2023 22:33

No child spends Easter Saturday at school in the UK.

Even if there wasn't photographic evidence of him in Klosters, we know he wasn't at school. You might as well say you believe in Father Christmas.

If you believe Harry then he tells you his memory is not great

@BellePeppa I hope your son has found the help he needed.

Thank you but no not yet. It’s really really hard to get help, unlike Harry who has a therapist on speed dial 😕next step trying to see if we can CBT.

There are literally photos of him Charles and Will skiing on the day the Queen Mother died.

Nobody is at school on Easter Saturday. You can check the date she died, against the ACTUAL term dates and you’ll see he wasn’t at school!

They’ve been fact checking his books with ACTUAL tangible facts and a lot of it is bollocks

I think this is the issue.

As @Floomobal points out, there’s a lot of provable lies in the book, such as the situation around the death of the Queen Mother. For me, this casts serious doubt on other non-provable claims. I’m not now willing to give the benefit of the doubt unless it can be corroborated. That’s what’s happens when you lie…..consequences.

I do feel frustrated when people try and defend something which is clearly untrue. If you are an ardent supporter of Harry and choose to believe the claims which can’t be proven, then that’s fine, your choice. But constructing conspiracies or bizarre explanations for Harry’s fibs, exaggerations or inaccuracies is unhelpful and means it’s impossible to have a genuine conversation or debate.

Totally agree. It’s really frustrating when people are doing mental gymnastics to excuse either the things he has written/spoken, plus reversing on the stuff he’s backtracked on.

I do not feel sorry for Harry. As far as I’m concerned, he has spoken his truth and revealed who he really is. I won’t be wasting any sympathy on him.

If he does come back for the coronation, I really hope he doesn’t get booed. I’d much rather the crowds just fell completely silent.

What about all the things that are proven to be lies so far? Why would you still believe Harry knowing that?

Ohgodthepain · 12/01/2023 05:52

Where are his friends? I know for sure that there's 3 of my friends who would be having a word with me and telling me to stop if this were me.

He says he fell on the dog bowl and it broke but there's pictures of his dog bowl and it's a metal one . He's telling so many lies .

Hopefully he can get started soon.

wasn't meaning to be flippant about depression or mental health problems.PH and his therapy just seems a waste of time imo.

Bunionbabe · 12/01/2023 10:48

It seems that one of his biggest issues is around being 'the spare' and just a back up in case William died or needed a kidney. I don't understand how anyone can be bitter about their birth order. Princess Ann is after all the ultimate spare. Despite being second born she wasn't able to succeed so her parents had to produce two more sons as a back up. She has managed to get on with her life without too much whingeing.

Patineur · 12/01/2023 10:59

It's the notion that he's there to supply spare organs and body parts to William that I find most bizarre. The phrase "Heir and spare" has been around for centuries, well before organ donation was even a thing, and it has never been taken to mean that. The notion that the medical profession would take leave of their senses and just nick his kidneys, lungs, or other bits as needed go keep his broth going is just deranged fantasy.

Sweetpeasaremadeforbees · 12/01/2023 11:08

Does he actually say that he thinks he was created to provide spare parts for W?

I'm starting to think that the leaked stuff in the tabloids about his todger etc. was the tame stuff. The really batshit stuff is only coming out now.

He’s a proven liar.

you'd have to bend yourself over backwards to believe him.

Being brothers doesn't mean your kidneys are compatible though, nor any other organ.

You don't understand the succession. If only Charles and Anne had been born and then Charles had died before he married then Anne would have become Queen on the death of her mother. The Queen had her second set of children when she was feeling more secure in her role and wanted to enjoy being a mother. It was luck that she had boys, she could have had another two girls.

Mrsjayy · 12/01/2023 12:42

Wait a minute he thought he was a walking organ donator? He surely couldn't have thought that!

Sweetpeasaremadeforbees · 12/01/2023 12:44

I know! So much of this sounds mad. I might buy a copy when it's in the charity shops just to flick through and find these bits.

Bunionbabe · 12/01/2023 13:04

Anne was still conceived as a second child, so a back up. The kidneys thing is quoted in the new York Times where he is asked about being a spare. He says he would he a source of 'kidneys, bone marrow, blood' etc. Perhaps he doesn't understand the science.

Well he’s certainly a kidney short of a pie 😁 The man is a clown.

Ohgodthepain · 12/01/2023 13:21

So does he think all couples only have a second child to be a walking organ donor?
I know they're special because they're royalty but first borns are equally special in the eyes of ordinary folk .
