So Harry is worried about security and yet has written in his book that he’s killed 25 Talibans.
He is dangerous. He is dangerous to the UK, to his family and to himself
He seems intent to be stirring up hatred.
I am so glad that HM The Queen isn’t seeing this 🥹 All her years of service being trashed by someone she loved so much

@Menomenon precisely. Who the fuck tells the world what your words to your dead grandmothers body when paying your respects were. Dickhead behaviour.

Not just dickhead behaviour. I think he is contractually obliged to share this stuff now, so essentially he's the publishers' b* for the time being. He sadly lacks the emotional and social intelligence as well as independence maturity to asses his situation and make mature and healthy choices. This is probably a result of his previous support network managing him as a pp pointed out. Looking at older articles and videos about the brothers, Harry has always looked quite put out underneath his cheeky boy's charm and William has always come across as more together. William is actually coming across very well in all this despite the accusations of brotherly shoving. Who could blame him for being exasperated and angry with Harry, many feel like that just listening to him and Meghan bleating on. They have unintentionally made it very easy to side with the RF. I mean who on earth shares that inane stuff about the lipgloss and baby brain, it makes Meghan seem unreasonable, but he's unable to see it 🤔.

So what's next? M&H are oblivious to the fallout they are creating, I suppose the royal family have to reply some kick arse psychologists and advisors to manage this little problem in the best possible way. Unfortunately Harry will have so much dirt on the RF that he can and will blackmail them into meeting his demands. Money, money, money. Meghan and Harry have just delivered the biggest bitching fest in the history of humankind. Well done, slow clap.

If there is meant to be a 3 book deal, what is going to be in the other 2 books?

Maybe he will examine the 'generational pain' he has inherited from The Spencers as he is after all 50% them. It is well documented that Diana suffered greatly, quite heartbreakingly, from her Parents divorce, and later became physical with both her Father and Step-Mother years before her engagement to Charles.

Didn't he claim in an interview some time ago that he'd never had a bike and felt hard done by it, but there is a photo of him riding his bike?

Or did I dream all that?

Didn’t get a bike?!
Even the poorest kid gets a bike.
There are pics of Harry on a bike- plus umpteen ponies.
He’s trying to tiny violin 🎻 here, surely.

It is an annoying, American bonding thing to borrow lipstick. My aunt used to ask my mum every time she visited from the States. My mum hated it and would offer to give it away to her straight afterwards.
I never understood why until I found out about BJs and cold sores much further down the line. Breuggggh

Pegging maybe?

Inkanta · 06/01/2023 11:25

I don't think it's all about the money. He's shining a light on the whole damn system - and standing up to the media and the royal family for leaking stories. The leaking stories when it was happening really got his goat and as he says there can be no reconciliation without accountability.

Bobbins36 · 06/01/2023 11:26

@LizzieSiddal don’t begrudge him talking about his trauma, in fact H himself has commented on how W suggested he seek therapy. Why though, does his talking about it have to be done in public, for cash and by deliberately and intentionally causing pain to his family? And not just discussing his mother’s death, but private conversations with people who thought they were having a private discussion with a family member. Does the world need to know what he said when speaking to his dead grandmothers body in the days after she died?
Does the world need to know his wife accused her sister in law of having ‘baby brain’, that his sister in law isn’t keen on sharing lip glosses (and that this is a failing on her part?!)

But hey, cash.

Placcyboel · 06/01/2023 11:27

@User12453315 I think the Prince William affair rumours are now totally blown out the water. Harry would definitely have spilled the beans. The best he has got is the dog bowl and lip gloss scandals.

Enough with the “his/her/their truth” bollocks. Someone’s opinion is just that, an opinion, their perception. Frequently unrelated to the actual facts.

His truth i.e. perspective. People have always had those so go and be snobby and pedantic at someone else please.

RudsyFarmer · 06/01/2023 11:30

Well the publishers want their pound of flesh. They’re hardly going to be giving him millions of pounds for him to write about his morning yoga routine and cucumber sandwiches with Grannie. They require dirt and he’s provided it.

No he said he never got to enjoy bike rides with his dad because of the press intrusion but now he does get to enjoy them with Archie. There is indeed a photo of a bike ride with his dad getting interrupted by paparazzi which doesn't disprove his claim.

Perspective and truth. Two different things.

caringcarer · 06/01/2023 11:35

I would not like others to use my lip gloss either. So I hygienic. What if other person gets cold sores? Pretty disgusting in my book. I bet Kate would not use it again after Meghan used it. Probably got thrown away.

Georgeskitchen · 06/01/2023 11:35

I wonder if the Spencers will come in for any flak? Remember Diana begged him to let her move into a cottage on the Althorp Estate as an escape from her troubles. He declined because he didn't want any "intrusion " from press or otherwise. What kind of caring brother does that to his distressed and damaged sister?
And then of course there was his rousing speech at Diana's funeral, pledging to a global audience that W&H's "blood family " would care for the boys and ensure their welfare.
By all accounts to he has done sweet f.a in the ensuing 25 years

Whynobreadpudding · 06/01/2023 11:38

I thought it was Megan stirring it, but it’s probably him, or both as bad as eachother, their relationship is screwed, there will be a divorce soon and that will be on media too. Feel sorry for their children.

OliviaBean · 06/01/2023 11:40

Whatever his end game, he is on the road to nowhere mentally. No decent therapist would advocate for spilling your guts to the world as a way to reach inner peace and mental stability. Inner peace starts from within.

I don't think there is anyone minding Harry.

He is an utter twat but a very broken man also. I don't see this ending well for him.

Bonbon21 · 06/01/2023 11:41

How can he complain about his security when he announces he has killed 25 taliban... more to the point he has put his entire unit at risk.
He is not a soldier.... he is not even a man... his behaviour is that of a toddler having a tantrum.
His granny would be devastated and so so disappointed in him.

LadyTwinkle · 06/01/2023 11:42

It's like watching a kamikaze pilot slowly self distructing and being powerless to stop it.

Aspiringmatriarch · 06/01/2023 11:42

TheMareAndTheSpare · 06/01/2023 09:51

In the book, he talks about having a dinner with Charles, and telling him all these anecdotes about how he felt traumatised and second best, and he relays that Charles actually put his head in his hands and said how deeply sorry he was.

This is so sad.

He also talks about how Charles would leave little notes under the boys' pillows telling them how proud he was of them.

And in almost all the anecdotes where he quotes Charles, Charles refers to Harry as Dear/Daring Boy/Son.

I agree with the pp who said, it's like Harry never grew up beyond the age when the trauma of losing his mum happened. All this talk of being second best and a spare - it's like he cannot see through that to the important thing: he is not the spare in his own life. And now he's not the spare to his wife and children.

There comes a time for the best 'revenge' of a life well lived.

So sad, and confirms what I thought about Charles (an odd duck but basically very kind). And absolutely yes - he's not a spare in his own life. I know people are cynical about Meghan but I think she does love him.

Well, somebody has encouraged him to go for broke and milk every story for anything it can be worth. Somebody has frontloaded the financial ambitions because they are thinking in a short-termist way and looking to tidy up their own image to come out smelling of roses post divorce.

Menomenon · 06/01/2023 11:01

The RF have to grey rock though. They need to protect their own privacy and mental health.

Harry was still including recent details about the Queens death. A total invasion of privacy and he can’t be trusted.

Well, I'm sure Charles will try. I would hope so.

What the hell is his end goal?

Money. He's getting paid lots of money.

How on earth are so many people confused by this?

F4chrissakes · 06/01/2023 11:50

Harry says his family and the Palace was in league with the press, and together they leaked and concocted stories about him and his wife. Even if this were true, those stories were nothing compared to this torrent of comedy gold scandal from the horses own mouth.
Can't believe his end goal was to be a worldwide laughing stock, though somehow I doubt that he will see it that way. I'm highly amused by it all, but it's sad really, isn't it?
