The royal family

Surely this is the death knell for the Royal Family?

Surely its now over for the Royal Family. Any notion that they are in some way special or noble is completely gone now. They have all gravitas of a problem family on Jeremy Kyle. Why would anyone bow to them or look up to them is beyond me. There is no longer anything regal about them!

If anything I think it will strengthen support for them, I think William's popularity will grow 😁

I agree. I hope the family continues to refuse to give H & M the attention they so desperately crave and just freeze them out. Brothers fight. It happens. Now the virginity story...I'll have that visual for quite a long time! 😂

Youarethesun · 05/01/2023 22:36

Why would the RF even address this?

All the simply need to say is that Harold went for him first. Unfortunately, despite starting it, he came off worse. Which M&H will deny. Probably kick up more of a fuss.

Then it’s just a case of ‘he said, she said’. Why would anyone involve themselves in this kind of thing?

@momtoboys my ribs are hurting from laughing at the other thread about Harry's adventures in a field behind that pub 😂

i always wonder when people say this what they envisage happening - Charles and Camilla being allowed to walk away with their private savings to move into Camillas house; Wills, Kate and the kids moving into a 3 bed somewhere in London etc., and assuming that there wouldn't be any risk to them, there wouldn't be any security issues or is it just that as private citizens they can just call 999 and we don't care? And then who gets all the castles etc? National Trust and English Heritage get even splits?

They own more property than the crown estate they won't need a three bed somewhere

starfishmummy · 05/01/2023 22:39

The only people this is the death knell for is halfwit Harry and his money grabbing wife.

Halfwit?? You are being very generous.

FancyFanny · 05/01/2023 22:39

Nah, Harry is making a tit of himself; so much so that the rest of the family's misdemeanours pale into insignificance in comparison.

Sandra1984 · 05/01/2023 22:41

I'm a foreigner living in the UK for 7 years now so I'm seeing all this bruaha from an outsiders point of view. I'm a spaniard (if that matters). The perception of this soap opera in my country (I read Spanish press every day and I'm part of many wassap groups of friends and family at home) Is that queen Elizabeth was well respected and managed to hold the institution together in a dignified manner, but now that she's dead a circus of clowns seem to have taken over the stage and it's not looking good for them. The British tabloids who traditionally have been a pillar of the monarchy are having a field day with more to come for the next years. In the meanwhile Brits cannot get back to work because of the transport strikes, meanwhile millions of Brits queue for food banks, as they choose between eating and heating. The realisation that monarchy is something obsolete that doesn't belong to the 21st century is brewing slowly.

Aarohi · 05/01/2023 22:41

'Mon now; put it in perspective. Smacked arse (or possibly actually an ass, he did say it was a rural setting) in a field is no worse than Charles wanting to be someone's tampon.

ProceedWithOptimism · 05/01/2023 22:41

What a pointless response @Mezmer 🙄

You said twats, not me...

Anyone who is happy to prop up a family of liars, law-breakers and serial shaggers - and actually believe they're our betters - is ripe for contempt.

Mumskisail · 05/01/2023 22:42

The death knell for Harry more like. What a jealous, vindictive power hungry little prick

Ncgirlseriously · 05/01/2023 22:42

God I wish, we won’t be rid of them that easily.

Re William , this confirmation of his violent rage is more damaging than all the affairs

The media has been telling us that he had a rage problem for years and now it's confirmed

Not in the slightest! Its made him go up in the estimation of every single person I've spoken to about this. Harry is actually making the royals more popular with his cringeworthy snivelling self pity! Hes also basically removed any doubt from people's minds that his wife is a nasty bully with no respect for anyone! Massive own goal from him!

LadyGaGasPokerFace · 05/01/2023 22:43

Never mind the poor dogs bowl, Harry has made a right dogs dinner of it all. What a complete twat!

Adelaide66 · 05/01/2023 22:44

The Monarchy is far older and stronger than entitled Harry. The British public rejected the Duke of Windsor and will treat the Sussexes with similar disdain.,

Shewolf359 · 05/01/2023 22:46

@StallionHarold "They are going to remember the spanked arse in the field that ended up in the dog's bowl in the kitchen"

Absolute gold. I applaud you

DillDanding · 05/01/2023 22:46

Much as I’d love to see them all gone, it won’t happen.

William and Kate will become more visible over the next few weeks so us prices think they’re hard-working. Kate will be more rictus grin than usual. They will be fine.

Harry’s played a blinder though in terms of book sales.

EileenAdler · 05/01/2023 22:47

Cromwell said some similar.

trythisforsize · 05/01/2023 22:50

Very hypocritical how they disowned Megan's dad for talking to the press, and now they're broadcasting every bit of their dirty laundry. Warped sense of right and wrong they have. People can smell the hypocrisy from halfway across the globe. The thing is - no-one really cares about their little family spats - all families have them, but you know when a couple of people you don't know start arguing in the street and you can't help be intrigued at the spectacle? It's like that. You stand there thinking - what a couple of ranty twats.

TanyaTurnersNails · 05/01/2023 22:51

Harry’s played a blinder though in terms of book sales.

Has he? We've pretty much had our fun dissecting it throughout the day haven't we? Who's going to bother to buy a copy now?

We already know about his arse landing in the dog bowl, his arse being spanked in a field whilst he mounted an older woman like a stallion, and to top it all off, his frostbitten knob.

What else is there to read? 😂

Even if he rakes it in from the sales, he can be sooooooo proud of sharing the above can't he. He's basically a Kardashian now.

Livelovebehappy · 05/01/2023 22:51

Woodenheart33 · 05/01/2023 20:59

I suppose it will all blow over eventually buy it is all very undignified, a sort of "Shameless" with the Windsor family 😂

I’m afraid the only people to come out of this badly, very badly, are Harry and Meghan. I actually think that all this shite from the pair has in fact increased the popularity of the RF.

appleyoudontevenknow · 05/01/2023 22:54

RudsyFarmer · 05/01/2023 21:38

William smacked him into the dog bowl did he? He’s gone up in my estimations from that one act alone.

Lol

trythisforsize · 05/01/2023 22:54

Yeah no-one needs to buy the book, there's no point. It will all be on the news. Hope they didn't bother printing too many - what a waste of trees, terrible for the planet.

The royal family are certainly not above divine law, or natural law either.

I think there are red flags with Charles and Camilla’s famous adultery and seeking to take the crown (corona). It risks undermining the legitimacy of God’s Ten Commandments.

Experts play down Coronation crisis fears after royal author Anthony Holden suggested King Charles's ceremony could be invalidated because of his 1994 affair confession Holden wrote: 'The Church of England has never crowned a divorced man as King, let alone one who has publicly confessed to adultery – with the relevant woman expecting to be crowned Queen Consort.

TiredyMcTired · 05/01/2023 23:05

I don’t see why? The RF have not behaved badly in this, we don’t know what their version of events, claimed by Harry and Meghan, is. H&M continue to throw out insults, many previous claims they have made in interviews etc have been proven to be lies. I think H&M are making themselves look really awful at the moment.
