The royal family

Surely this is the death knell for the Royal Family?

Surely its now over for the Royal Family. Any notion that they are in some way special or noble is completely gone now. They have all gravitas of a problem family on Jeremy Kyle. Why would anyone bow to them or look up to them is beyond me. There is no longer anything regal about them!

Re William , this confirmation of his violent rage is more damaging than all the affairs

The media has been telling us that he had a rage problem for years and now it's confirmed

Confirmation? So because Harrold says it happened it did? Also never huge Royalist, but bloody hell impressed by the rest of the RF putting up with all this rubbish for so long!

jerseybean1000 · 05/01/2023 22:12

Not at all. Think they have come through this charade very well. Harry on the other hand is a disgrace

SirMingeALot · 05/01/2023 22:12

StallionHarold · 05/01/2023 21:05

No, I don't think it will be.

He jumped the shark by including how he lost his virginity, and that one false stepp has made him a laughing stock.

People aren't going to remember what he accuses William of. They are going to remember the spanked arse in the field that ended up in the dog's bowl in the kitchen

Poor chap - he's got the reverse of the Midas touch, hasn't he?

Yeah.

And I'm a republican, I want every single one of them to get to fuck, but he reeeeeeeeally should've left the stories about his dick out of it if that's what he was going for.

Hattie72 · 05/01/2023 22:14

I hope so. They should be on Jeremy Kyle show

Luredbyapomegranate · 05/01/2023 22:14

Why? They’ve had centuries of scandals.

rumship · 05/01/2023 22:15

Novella4 · 05/01/2023 22:03

And the 'royals' silence on all this is not 'pure class' it's weak

They will have to respond to the claims of violence
Physically attacking your brother when you are in your late thirties is NOT normal

They will have to respond to the claims of violence

Oh really and what will happen if they dont? Recollections may vary.

Some people on here don't half talk some twaddle. Next you'll be claiming you receipts. Well I say nayyyy hold yer horses 🐎 , the only shoving and tugging I can imagine now is the foreplay, broke back Harry had with an old nag in the neigh-borhood. 😂

GreenFingersWouldBeHandy · 05/01/2023 22:16

I think it's the end of anyone ever taking Harry seriously again.

Ridden like a stallion!?

Hahahaha.

IcedPurple · 05/01/2023 22:17

Hardly.

There have been tawdry scandals about royals as long as monarchies have existed. It's what they're for. Sort of.

It will, however, mark the end of Harry's attempts to be taken seriously as anything other than a rather desperate purveyor of royal gossip. Who would want to be associated with someone so disloyal and indiscreet?

I hope so!! I like to think that's why Harry has done this.

The royal brand screwed over his mother and his wife, with impunity. I hope he's exposed them all for what they are... Human! Not even good humans, at that.

You know that royalty was thought to be descended from god or whatever. Not anymore, so why the hell are we supporting the leeches?

I'm sure Paul Burrell had better material than 'I landed on my arse in a dog bowl and mounted an older woman like a stallion in a field behind a pub' tbh. Utterly pathetic.

TanyaTurnersNails · 05/01/2023 22:24

Oh and don't forget the frostbitten knob either.

They'll be fine in the long run.

H&M? Not so much

Acheyknees · 05/01/2023 22:25

I have great sympathy for KC, in the last 2 years he's lost his DM and DF, hasn't really had time to greive for either, then became king. Throughout this whole period his son has been whinging and whining, doing as much damage as he can. Harry seems to delight in making things difficult for KC. Remember watching KC escorting M down the aisle at Westminster, he was all smiles, if only he knew then what was to come.

Mezmer · 05/01/2023 22:27

No way. It won’t be. Harry has just compounded support for William and the RF.

the face William said Meghan is rude, difficult etc just goes as evidence that she IS!

harry, what have you done to yourself? You’ve exposed yourself as a whiney, spoilt brat. Your revelations in the face of it are pretty….. boring.

ProceedWithOptimism · 05/01/2023 22:28

Millions of people lined the streets around the country to bend the knee to a woman who supported and defended her sex-trafficking son, and who lobbied parliament to hide the extent of her wealth as it was so extreme as to be deemed an embarrassment.

The fact that that happened, and that there was a hysterical outpouring of grief because she was apparently the epitome of 'duty' tells me that a sizeable percentage of this country are utter fuckwits.

So no, none of this will be the end of the RF. That would require a referendum and most of the poor idiots who believe the 'duty' narrative would vote to keep supporting these rich narcissists at the expense of themselves.

Spectre8 · 05/01/2023 22:29

Sadly no. Puttinf Harry's book aside they have done enough damage to their reputation themselves but unfortunately they will somehow make it through.

SnottyLottie · 05/01/2023 22:30

Sometimes anger is the logical predictable response to having to deal with somebody with zero self-awareness.

Hbh17 · 05/01/2023 22:31

Not at all. I think this book will backfire on Harry (in the UK, at least) because it will massively increase sympathy and support for The King and the Prince of Wales.
The Coronation will be hugely popular.
And the Royal Family have survived worse, even in living memory, ie the abdication and all the scandals of the 1990s.

BethDuttonsTwin · 05/01/2023 22:32

I think if anything it will bring them more support leaving Harry utterly despised.

Mybonnielad · 05/01/2023 22:32

I do feel quite sorry for Harry. He only has one way of making enough cash to support his lifestyle and that seems to be to blurt out all the dirt he can on the family.
The sad truth is, once it's all blown over, he will be left with nothing else to sell. I hope he has good friends in America.

Woodenheart33 · 05/01/2023 21:41

Bloody ridiculous the lot if them, Charles the wanna be tampon ... that embarrassment is supposed to be our king? Andrew the non sweating associate of Epstein, all the current crap with William, Kate, Meghan and Harry.

And we pay for this? More fool us! Historically people believed in the divine right of Kings, who thinks this now?

Time to retire the lot of them and end this shit show.

i always wonder when people say this what they envisage happening - Charles and Camilla being allowed to walk away with their private savings to move into Camillas house; Wills, Kate and the kids moving into a 3 bed somewhere in London etc., and assuming that there wouldn't be any risk to them, there wouldn't be any security issues or is it just that as private citizens they can just call 999 and we don't care? And then who gets all the castles etc? National Trust and English Heritage get even splits?

if only we could all be as intellectually superior as you.
