Meghan WAS banned from Balmoral after Queen’s death

In his book, Harry also claims that his father told him that Meghan should not come to Balmoral. The Queen was staying at her Scottish estate when she died last September.

I thought it was common knowledge as well. They only wanted immediate or very close to the Queen family, which is fair enough.
Not to mention there was extra reason in this case as private details would have probably ended up in a book or on a talk show.

Sophie was not the wife of a grandson though - Sophie is the wife of one of the Queen’s four children. Sophie had also been in the family for a significant amount of time, also. The husbands of Princess Beatrice and Eugenie were also not present.

The whole book/netflix thing is in poor judgement. I don't get why he thinks making such a public account of very private things is going to make it easier or get his Father and Brother back.
He's dropped a grenade in the whole situation.

It is insulting to the other grandchildren, if Harry believes that it is more important Meghan was there than Peter, Zara, Beatrice, Eugene, Louise and James.
The Queen was their actual Grandmother not an in-law that had been part of the family for a short time, moved to another continent, never bothered to go visit and caused trouble and fighting.

Meghan didn’t know the queen that well and I personally would have found it deeply inappropriate for her to be there to witness her after she passed or to be with her children at that time. For me it was the right decision and they should have recognised it and not needed to be told.

I used to think this too, but honestly looking at his eyes in the video I’m changing my mind. I think they are filling him with paranoia. Everything is being so utterly over dramatised and overblown. There seems to be more hate every time he speaks. He’s in a vicious and incredibly damaging spiral thsy imcreasiny think has been prompted by all this publicity they’re seeking.

Where will it end that’s what I wonder. I think Harry will keep on going in ever frantic attempts to wound and provoke a reaction. When he doesn’t get a reaction, what will happen next?

It seems that marrying into the RF meant worldwide stardom for Megan to 'transform' the RF, inject some americanism into England (which we DONT want thank you VERY much) and basically use her connection the the royals to project her own agenda and become famous. She 'used' them basically, and when she wasn't bowed down to as the 'kooky, interesting little american girl' and not granted the instant escalation to stardom, she got all snotty, threw a hissy fit and cried abuse.

That's what it all looks like from my perspective. She dragged Harry down with her when she lost her footing. Harry had been waiting to be 'saved' all his life so he swallowed it, hook, line and sinker.

It makes me wonder if Meghan is distancing herself from the shitshow that is Spare ?

Tbh I was surprised Harry being there and I bet Kate was suppose to be there but was used as an excuse to keep Meghan away given their record of their constant never ending selling side of "their story".

I think this constant refrain of ‘Harry is not mentally well/on verge of breakdown’ is just another way to avoid making him responsible for his own actions.

Sophie was very close to the Queen. This revelation makes Harry look awful. “I hassled my Dad as his mother was dying/had just died so that my wife who had no meaningful relationship with his mum could be included”.

She must have known what was in it. Maybe she doesn’t really give a toss about Harry’s reputation, as long as he embarrasses the RF. He really does come across as a bit thick and easily influenced, it’s easy to believe he didn’t realise how daft it would make him look, but I thought she was brighter than that.

H&M should have used their status to add cache to prestigious brands, and take jobs as ambassadors for philanthropic charities. If they wanted publicity this should have been purely lifestyle fluff stuff. That would have built a sustainable high end brand. But to do that they would have needed to be very discreet. By airing their dirty laundry and trying to ‘get even’ that have removed that possibility. Instead they are doing exactly what H always claimed to hate; selling stories to the tabloid gutter press who will now have a feeding frenzy and look for ever more dirt. And H will feel grubby from his dealings with them and resent them even more for his dependence on them.

Of all the snippets I’ve read, this is by far the worst.
Why is he always making everything about him?
Does he not think his Dad had far more pressing concerns than Meghan and Harry’s feelings?

Their entire "careers" are built on them being part or no longer part of the Royal family. A family they seem to despise.

Strange how they are open to reconciliation with the RF but not meghans father. I mean according to them they've both done the same.
