I'm merely saying that the Great British Press are not known for their truthful reporting (understatement of the century) so all of this hysteria may be a little premature.
Nobody commenting on any of these threads has a clue what's in it.
And no...I'm not going to buy it.

Because it is essentially the only news that the tabloids are reporting. The Sun even have a caveat that they've translated it from Spanish so some might be a bit inaccurate (I'm sure they crying into their tea about that!)

I doubt all the stories the press are covering right now are true.

I suspect the Spanish version is a fake. And when the actual book comes out it will be nothing about Camilla, killing 25, fighting with his brother.

I’m certainly not going to read it. I work hard for my money and I’m not going to give harry and Meghan some of it as reward for this. And more fool anyone who does.

Why on earth would anyone want to waste hours of their life on reading a shite book when they can get the main headlines from here and the rest of the media? I do have Netflix so it wouldn't have cost me anything to watch the docuseries (I didn't because.....six hours!?) but I'm buggered if I'm actually spending money on this crap.

What's funny is that all these leaks are great for ITV and Tom Bradby, it's like they're the trailer for the interview rather than the other way round.

they have basically lost too. It’s a disaster for the book really. How many people will cancel their preorder tonight. Know what’s in it now and why bother. Because actually it appears rather unsettling and no one actually wants to read a book that is obviously unstable. Prurience has a limit.

It may look stupid but people will still watch it. And because there will be no answers to specific points in the book people will just be more pissed off with Harry. I agree it's a disaster for the book.

Just google, they put out a statement saying they were launching an investigation on how it happened, it’s literally all over rhe media .

Epiphany today, Three Kings Day. Children and adults receive presents today in Spain. January 5th is a BIG retail day in Spain. Employees at a ‘Casa del Libro’ bookshop branch in Spain opened one of the boxes of Spare yesterday and given that there was no warning in the box or notice inside, claim they did not know the book was embargoed for a few more days and put it on the shop floor given that it was a big day for sales. A few copies were sold before the intervention of a manager. No mystery here.

But if the Guardian had published it and it was fabulous and all wonderful about HAM would you be saying the same?.

I already allocated 6 hours to Harry and megs Netflix. I deemed this acceptable as I could do other inane things at the same time.

I absolutely will not allocate dedicated reading time to Harrys book sorry. My directed attention is precious.

I did say the book would be a bad idea for this reason. Media doesn’t like them and they do spin. They cherry picked parts of the Netflix and did misrepresent to some degree. The same is no doubt happening with the book but I don’t know what else to say because if he genuinely thinks the majority of people have the equivalent of days to dedicate solely to his biography then that’s crazy. The majority were always going to get the second hand summary.
