Prince Harry reveals that he killed 25 people in Afghanistan. He did not think of the 25 as ‘people’ but as ‘chess pieces’

Of all the idiotic and stupid things to say this has to be his worst yet. I have some close members of my family in the forces and none of them ever discusses whom they may have killed in conflict, no matter the circumstances.

This is a massive no no. I honestly believe he has crossed the line on so many levels now. Next time he cries about his security he needs to have a long hard think after this.

I'm in awe at his stupidity now 😳

A few family members and friends have served in the forces and none of them have nor ever will reveal if they killed anyone its not something thats spoken about

Canthave2manycats · 05/01/2023 17:28

I think Harry has actually flipped his lid completely now.

Am totally incredulous!

So H killed 25, was in the Army for years, yet is slung into a dog bowl by his brother! Wow, William must really be something!

Never thought of W being such a tough guy

😂😂😂

Scramblinghealingdreaming · 05/01/2023 17:36

He has gone too far now. This is seriously messed up.

And he's just put a big target on his and his families head. Surely the royal family can do something as he is almost pathological in his outlook and seriously unwell.

But how did all this get past Meghan? The stories around her just prove what the press were saying all along.

None of it makes any sense other than to further damage themselves.

Flux1 · 05/01/2023 17:39

Surely Meghan would have gotten to review the book before it was published?

ButterBastardBeans · 05/01/2023 17:40

Harry comes across as a normal dude albeit a bit thick that came into the orbit of a total narc and then .....he must have had a stroke or a tapeworm cyst on his brain or something surely? WTF !

Just when Brits are feeling like their country is letting them down in every fucking respect, this dude starts bleating about this crick of shite! You could not make this up!

amonsteronthehill · 05/01/2023 17:40

If this is true, he's made himself and his family a serious target of zealots.

He's lost his mind, clearly.

bakalava · 05/01/2023 17:42

I don't think he should show up at the Coronation even if Netflix insist.

MandyMotherOfBrian · 05/01/2023 17:47

Now? I’m guessing you wrote that before the ‘Harry - how I lost my virginity’ revelation?

mincedtart · 05/01/2023 17:47

Why is it taboo to name your number, when you literally chose your job? No one forced you.

toocold54 · 05/01/2023 17:49

But I'm surprised at all the "so what?" comments on the thread - even if you're not offended, surely it's obvious that what he's said is a huge security risk for himself and his family?! I'm shocked tbh

He would have already been a target, simply by being part of the war.

He’s also a target for terrorists because he’s part of the RF, even if he didn’t go to war.

I don’t see why people are so shocked about him being honest.

milti · 05/01/2023 17:51

Brainless dimwit

LadyVictoriaSponge · 05/01/2023 17:52

Cherryblossoms85 · 05/01/2023 17:24

Is this his incredibly high risk way of forcing the government to pay for his security?

Absolutely he has done this on purpose, I don’t believe him at all.

drpet49 · 05/01/2023 17:56

Ostryga · 05/01/2023 15:50

That’s literally the point of the army. Thousands of men and women have killed people because it is their JOB. They are taught to think like that so it can hopefully stop the fucking awful trauma of killing someone.

Just say you’re ignorant and go away.

Yep this

DarkDayforMN · 05/01/2023 17:14

Yes but counting them/keeping score is a bit psycho isn't it?

No time for Harry and it clearly wasn't a good move on his part to say this, but I think it would be much weirder not to know how many people you've killed.

Exactly this. I was literally about to write the same thing. It's more like each one weighed on his conscience.

bakalava · 05/01/2023 17:58

January is meant to be the slump month. Thank you, Harry and thank you again for more drama than 24 hours of back-to-back Eastenders.

OooScotland · 05/01/2023 18:01

That’s not just another line crossed, is it?

He needs residential treatment and a complete media blackout.

StopStartStop · 05/01/2023 18:01

This lad needs quietly taking out of circulation, for his own good. A few years under close supervision and not one word in public, ever again.

AskingQuestionsAllTheTime · 05/01/2023 18:14

As is so often the case when a nitwit opens his big yap, I wonder how badly his children are going to be damaged by having to deal with it.

"My daddy was a trained killer and he killed a lot of people, but he thought of them as chess pieces so he wouldn't worry too much" isn't all that much fun for someone of say twelve to take in and process.

Though I suppose if they are growing up in a country where a madman gunning down twenty-six people, twenty of them children between six and seven years old, is seriously believed by many to have been a "false flag operation" staged by actors, and the families of the dead are hounded from place to place and put at risk of also being killed, nothing will surprise them too much.

VladmirsPoutine · 05/01/2023 18:21

Good for him. Murdering people is not something to be proud about. People on this thread claiming their husbands/fathers are part of the military and 'don't ever discuss' how many people they've killed - it's not a badge of honour - in other words you are married and or the daughter of a murderer. You should feel shame about that fact, not pride that your great grandad killed some ethnics. Shame be it on all those murderers.

His family are a bunch of institutional imperial colonisers whom have never worked a day in their life for all the wealth they claim to own. The sooner he brings the whole show down the better.

Well he’s not going the right way about it. He’s got the world laughing at him and I’d bet my house the RF’s popularity has soared today.

BinBandit · 05/01/2023 18:28

He is just not very bright all round is he? Not only has he put himself and his family in danger, he's put the security staff paid to protect him in danger as well.

He's just a stupid knob.

I remember being told about when my granddad came home from serving in North Africa in WW2 and all the kids were excitedly asking him what it was like in the war, how many he'd killed etc and his reply was "it was hot" and he never mentioned it again.

I'm not surprised that they learn to depersonalise as they need to come home and live a normal life at some point. I also appreciate that they shouldn't be bottling up their experiences as they might have done in the past but a book isn't the forum to be sharing is it?

I understand he has been damaged by his experiences as a child etc but he's also had access to the best available therapy which your ordinary civilian is not able to access. I think he really needs new advisors or a proper friend would be a start.

People are picking apart every aspect of everything he says. It's a bit ridiculous at this point.

Did he say he saw or he sees? He's describing his thought process at the time, presumably fighting terrorists (hopefully no civilians caught up).

However, this was clearly a bad move on his part. His safety is going to compromised by something like this- not a gap of idea.
