He has gone after Camilla....

The Sun have got hold of a copy of the book that was accidently put on sale in Spain. They are clearly skimming it as fast as possible with a translator. They are reporting that W&H begged KC not to marry C, and that he thought she was leaking stories to the press.

Bloody hell.

I am fairly horrified but also really quite saddened to see Harry relentlessly attacking his family. Whatever role they hold in the nation as our royal family, they are still his family and I think what he is doing is so self destructive and so hurtful to those he is saying awful things about. He's clearly got some issues and I hope he actually gets proper support with his mental health. On the other hand I also wouldn't blame his family for not wanting to speak to him again after this.

Yep, a line has been crossed.

And as a side note....I cannot believe he has commented on William's baldness. What a childish and infantile low blow - petty little twat.

He’s showing off after his hair transplant 😂

He looks like Charles and Phillip. Honestly don’t people just use their eyes?!

In fairness I think he looks like all 3 of them 🤣

Bigger plot twist - Philip was James Hewitt's dad? 👀

Lol 😁

Because that would be boring.

DuchessofSandwich · 05/01/2023 14:20

I'm not a huge fan of Charles but losing dad, then mum, then your youngest son plus being attacked on all sides in such a short span of time must really hurt.

Plus George and Charlotte are probably hearing shit stories about this at school. Poor kids. Harry goes on and on about his childhood but he seems pretty happy to try to wreck his niblings childhoods and safety net.

WinnieFosterReads · 05/01/2023 14:20

It's such a shame that H&M obviously don't have a single trusted advisor that is willing to tell them when something is a bad idea.
If all the leaks are true then all they have managed to do is confirm that the RF thought M was difficult and rude; that M basically called Kate hormonal at the dress fitting; that H never takes responsibility for anything or has a moment of reflection.
The thing is they would still have sold tonnes of books if they had gone in the other direction eg now as a father, H understands why the family worried about a quick engagement but their happy marriage shows it was worth the risk; he's happy he had so many opportunities handed to him by being a prince; he's pleased he was given the chance to serve overseas (and sorry that the US media leaked it and ended it for him). People buy books about the RF no matter what. This book could have been his olive branch and opened the door to being the RF representatives in the US.

Fantastic. Now no one need buy the ruddy thing as it will be published in the sun.

Genuinely I’m astounded anyone wanted to. Someone on here said they were so desperate they even preordered. Can you imagine. We all knew it was going to be leaked in the media, but more than that, why pay these people for what they are doing. Why give harry and Meghan your money.

anyone buying into it and throwing them cash should be ashamed.

ssd · 05/01/2023 14:20

Im sick of harry. I wish he'd shut up, not because im worried about any fall out or anything bad being said about them . Im just sick of the lot of over privileged nitwits continually being discussed when the world is in such a state.
The RF can all fuck off to the far side of fuck as far as im concerned.

I also wonder what will become of them now. They simply can’t be taken seriously as content providers. They are just hugely contentious people, viewed with distaste in the main. Very few people can understand why they did this other than money, notoriety and spite. And that says something about them that is Really disturbing.

That's what I was wondering. These two just bring 'bad vibes' and nobody wants to be associated with that. It's not like they have talent, money or connections to offset it either. I think even the woo corporate coaching gig Harry shills may want to get rid, as he's hardly a good advertisement for any sort of mental health related business.

What really do they have to offer to anyone?

PicturesOfDogs · 05/01/2023 14:21

BethDuttonsTwin · 05/01/2023 13:52

Oof! Spiteful! And also like he’s living in cloud cuckoo land!

I’ve said this before, that he was massively jealous of Williams obvious resemblance to Diana.
It can’t have been nice for him, when people were speculating about his parentage, but it’s not Williams fault.

I disagree as well, I still think W is very much the spit of his mother

vera99 · 05/01/2023 14:21

Have we had Kate and Harry had a drunken fling yet and if not why not.....😁

CornishGem1975 · 05/01/2023 14:21

lemmein · 05/01/2023 14:16

I agree with this. I think this is HUGELY backfiring on them, there is no glory in this.

On mumsnet perhaps. Twitter tells a different story 🤷🏻‍♀️

Not on my Twitter feed! Generally people are calling him a massive tool.

GyozaGuiting · 05/01/2023 14:22

FFS Harry. If he’s this short on cash I’ll bung him a tenner. He needs to stop now.

The RF won’t say anything, nothing will change apart from irreparable damage to his relationships.
I worked with him a few years ago and he was so happy, full of banter and relaxed (in the army). It’s a great shame.

The Daily Fail has a copy too...

I wonder what the Spanish for "Oops-a-daisy" is? 🤣

SylviasMotherSaid · 05/01/2023 14:22

@CornishGem1975 I’m not a huge fan of Megan although I liked her a lot when they first got engaged but she really owes no loyalty to the Royals she would barely have known them whereas Harry I think has went as low as possible . One thing it makes me feel less bad about some of the shit that goes on in my own family it’s nothing compared to this

Cariadz · 05/01/2023 14:23

Blossomtoes · 05/01/2023 14:13

Talk which is obvious bollocks because it would undoubtedly have been in Harold’s book if there was a grain of truth in it.

Yes. And the retreat/spa break she was supposedly sent on this year because she’s an alcoholic is a holiday she takes every year with a group of pals. There’s also a particular one they go to in Europe.

Begoniasforever · 05/01/2023 14:23

but they do, or did. They keep firing them, one commented ages ago it was impossible to work for them, as they only listened to each other, only heard each other, egged each other on, and ignored all the experts opinions. They think they know best. They literally sit at meetings and ignore their own advisors, listening only to each other and agreeing with each other.

they are even now doing their own pr, fired their agent, even though anyone with a brain cell can see how totally out of their depth and incapable they are.

its batshit.

I’m also reading that the Nazi costume was all William and Kate’s fault too?

Were they even together then?

CornishGem1975 · 05/01/2023 14:21

Mine too. There’s one Tweet on my feed that’s supportive of him.

StockholmCalling · 05/01/2023 14:25

You know what makes me angry. The audacity of both parties to think any of this shit deserves a moment’s airtime.

The Joseph Rowntree Foundation estimates there are around 14.5 million people in this country in poverty. 4.3 million are thought to be children. These are 2022 figures so I’d imagine this has worsened with the cost of living crisis. The NHS is broken and people are dying in crowded hospital corridors or in their own homes because there’s no ambulances to come and help them.

Both sides of this sorry mess need a reality check. None of this is remotely important.

LadyHarmby · 05/01/2023 14:25

Be careful about short quotes and extracts like this. We need the whole thing in context - it’s very different if he thought like this about her immediately after Diana’s death vs this time last year, for example.

BradfordGirl · 05/01/2023 14:25

Cariadz · 05/01/2023 14:23

I have no idea if she is an alcoholic or not and would not like to guess.
But it is clear that both Camilla and Charles are heavy drinkers. There are plenty of middle aged and older people who do drink a lot of alcohol on a regular basis.

He has also gone after Williams receding hairline. This is quoted in the mail, who also have a copy from Spain. Its hilarious and odd in equal measure

He wrote: 'I looked at Willy, really looked at him, perhaps for the first time since we were little, taking in every detail: his familiar scowl, which had always been the norm in his dealings with me'.

He said that his brother's baldness was 'alarming' and 'advanced than mine' and said his resemblance their their mother had 'faded'

Bloody hell!!!

scornful.

gosh

CPL593H · 05/01/2023 14:26

Well, I have said previously that I think Meghan copped most of the flak while the actual Royal Prince evaded it, but as he's now taken the nuclear option under his own name that at least should change. I actually feel rather sorry for her TBH, although why Harry thought the "baby brain" thing showed her in a good light I don't know. The spite and bile is just so awful. "Evil stepmothers from the stories"? Really? He was at least 13, not 6. I can well believe that he didn't like the situation or the idea of Camilla, perhaps very understandably, but this is hyperbole. The jibes about William's hair and not looking like Diana any more, just why?

This is going to backfire massively and as someone who has always had a soft spot for Prince Harry (and no issue at all with his choice of wife) I am currently feeling very sad. I still hope that some peace can be found but I think he's put a torch to his ships with this.

SnowdroppersUnite · 05/01/2023 14:27

he seems pretty happy to try to wreck his niblings childhoods and safety net.

I've never heard the term 'nibings' before and it's immediately become my new favourite word!

fwiw I think Twitter is a useless tool to judge public sentiment (whichever way you lean). It's algorithms mean you tend to see much more of the things you agree with than the things you don't - even when you try for it not to.
