Interesting that Jason Knauf has been honoured in the NY Honours List ( RVO).

That of course would have avoided the whole thing, but appears to be too much to expect - and not just from H&M. To be a successful liar you need a good memory, but unfortunately "I forgot" doesn't cut it when coming from someone so consumed with curating their own image at the expense of others

If W&K became aware of Knauf's knowledge it wouldn't surprise me at all if he'd been "encouraged" to share it, but that doesn't alter the fact that there'd have been nothing to share if the lies hadn't been told in the first place

I don’t think anyone thinks that there is not a rift between the brothers do they?

With hearing nothing from William because they don't complain or explain - it's a sign that the rift is a reality. William seems to be responding indirectly via this JK guy situation or via press leaks. Feels like a legitimate response of sorts.

…….all one sided, monologues not count as “leaking” to the public - doesn’t that just facilitate or exacerbate any rift?

I think that’s an interesting question . My feeling is that a lot will depend on Harry’s book ( and Meghan’s rumoured one) . If - as expected- there is criticism of Camilla and Catherine, the chances of any reconciliation will reduce.
I don’t doubt that KC and W love Harry and are probably concerned about his Mental Health but even they will have their limits.

Harry's communication style is direct and Williams is indirect - constrained by his senior role, and in real life Wlliam may be more direct but I don't think the public will ever know his perspective. We know Harry is pissed with William because he's said so - and I think we pretty much know now that William is pissed with Harry. All indirect passive aggressuve stuff from William though - that's all we're gonna get. We know no more.

He didn’t provide his own opinion in the law suit (which could be deemed biased). He gave factual information in the form of emails, which showed that Meghan Duchess of Sussex had perjured herself. It is a very serious matter to lie to a court of law.

As far as I understand it, referring to him as a witness for any particular side is misleading, he was a witness for the court and that’s it.

For all of those saying it’s indicative of William going against Harry because he must have given permission/told him to do it/briefing against him - would you really lie to a court of law if your employer told you to?

This isn’t about ‘sides’, this is about facts and truth.
If Meghan hadn’t done those things, JK would have had nothing to ‘leak’.

Its her fault she lied ti court, and to try and twist it that she’s the victim and he is the villain is gaslighting at its finest

And the fact she mentioned in the show that he had given evidence ‘against her’, without mentioning her lies on the court record says a lot.
All that ‘it’s your brother, but it’s so obvious’ stuff, you’d think she’d give a bit more context, but that was that show all over.

Omid tweeted ‘he (Jason Knauf) had helped the daily Mail take on Meghan Markle in court .

I’m guessing he didn’t like the replies as the tweet was later removed. What a complete twisting of the truth, but hardly a surprise from this twit.

Omid is only the mouthpiece. A reliable mouthpiece. I remember when he tweeted a progress report midway through the hearing which could only have been given to him in one way. The Judge drew attention to this.

Things like that make me feel she is untrustworthy and probably not an easy person to deal with.

I find it funny that people still think the Royals keep quiet & don't say anything!

Not sure about Scobie being terribly reliable though; it's true he gets fed info which suits H&M, but his own need for attention - to say nothing of his ridiculous prose - tends to get in the way of anything approaching a sensible account

He was trending on Twitter this morning so I had a look at his tweets. One particular one about Louis was bang out of order. He seems a nasty bitter person.

The ridiculous display by the British media had now attracted global attention and the media received a lot of push-back. The racism, misogyny, sexism and classism was rightfully called out and so was their double standards and hypocrisy criticising Meghan for doing everything every Royal had done in the past. The British media pushed back. Dan Wootton who happened to attend University with Jason Knauf, a senior official in William’s court and had a mutual friend with Christian Jones, Communications Secretary at Kensington palace accused Harry and Meghan of playing the victim card when in fact it was the family and their courtiers that had been briefing different parts of the media about them. His colleague at the time Emily Andrews eagerly informed the public that, the palace had been angered by Harry and Meghan’s actions and nobody was supporting them.

It wasn’t the Prince hanging out with the convicted paedophile; or another Prince allegedly having an affair with his wife’s friend; nor was it the fact that in 7 years of marriage said wife had not done anything meaningful in her royal role that had angered the palace. It was Meghan’s admirable qualities of feistiness, can-do attitude and work ethic that had angered the family and the household.

Jason came out and said that he was asked by ANL and by Meghans lawyer direct to provide evidence in the case and it was nothing at all to do will William or the palace, then her lawyer hit back saying no she didn’t ask him and then he doubled down saying yes she did, he has the request from her in writing, and we never heard from her lawyer again so that shows Jason wasn’t lying and that the palace had nothing to do with it, it was Meghans team and ANL that asked for the evidence, here’s a snapshot below of part of the statement ⬇️

Meghan’s lawyer responded to the statement, saying they ‘disputed’ this claim and adding: ‘Mr Knauf was not asked to provide a witness statement by the Duchess of her team. Nor do her attorneys believe Mr Knauf remained “neutral” by submitting a witness statement relied on by Associated Newspapers whilst working for the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge.’

Mr Knauf then doubled down, with his representative saying: ‘The Duchess of Sussex and Jenny Afia contacted Mr Knauf in writing, asking him to assist in the preparation of their legal case.’

That website, largely the fantasy of a few sad super fans. I wonder could they be on mumsnet.

Well, apparently Meghan's new book will be out in 2023 because there is still some of that five minutes service to milk. It is like that exercise in English where students have to write three, long paragraphs about a banal action they would not usually think about like unwrapping a chocolate bar. "Bring in all of your five senses etc"

What else can there possibly be left to say ?
