How about the palace stops this 'unedifying circus' first. H&M would have nothing to answer to then.
I honestly don't comprehend why you think posts like this are helpful in your support of H&M.
The public "circus" is demonstrably in the domain of H&M, with act after act of unbridled privileged victimhood meant to disguise their financial ambitions in utilising their connections to a family and institution (whose public responses have been very, very measured) they claim to despise, yet still trade on.
There's no second guessing this or any real analysis required. It's all out in the open because H&M have chosen to make this public because that is what pays the bills for a very lavish lifestyle, that again they have chosen lead.
Right at the start of this process they made very clear that financial independence was their goal and they absolutely did not want to leave the RF.
They wanted to step down as senior working royals yet retain the financial kickbacks provided to do a job they effectively resigned from.
Honestly, I'm utterly fed up with their petulant whinging at this point and frankly also with people who wilfully defend their behaviour however hypocritical or poorly conceived.
I'm by no means an ardent royalist and frankly I think there's a lot more that could be done to clear house in that respect, but the bloody whataboutary is utterly counterproductive.
H&M could have made different choices and I wish they had. I think they had the potential to be a real force for good - but instead it's abundantly clear that the desire to feather their own nest, irrespective of the cost to others and even their own stated values of compassion and respect is paramount.
