I was surprised (and not in a good way) to see Andrew join the rest of the royal family at the Christmas service at Sandringham church this morning. He even shook hands with at least one member of the crowd. Surely he should be kept away from the public if the royal family have any desire whatsoever to keep the monarchy going? What is Charles thinking in allowing him to join them?!

I think PA is dim & a sleaze however he was also used to women throwing themselves at him. Not for nothing was his nickname RandyAndy 🤢

However ridiculous it sounds I can honestly believe that he thought a17 year old would want to have sex with him because he was a prince.

I don’t think it would have crossed his mind that she was trafficked.

Whenever I think of trial by media/public opinion I think of the poor man Christopher Jeffries who was vilified, hounded & completely innocent.

I also think he was too dim and privileged to have given any thought to it.

i do think he should completely "retire" from public stuff though.

I think this is absolutely right. He jus thought she would think it a privilege to sleep with him and that was it. I think he’s a very stupid man.

Age of consent in the USA is 18. Trafficked people cannot give consent. Take your pick.

Happend in the UK our laws trump theirs in our country

He is an alleged RAPIST call him what he is

FurAndFeathers · 26/12/2022 00:43

Fair enough. Criminal cases in the UK cannot be settled out of court and I’m not a legal expert.

but I’d suggest having an uncooperative prosecution witness who has received a substantial payoff from the potential defendant wouldn’t hold up well in court

It was a civil case that was settled there has been no criminal case as yet

The only reason he hasn't been convicted is because he bought silence. He should've had his balls cut off not be shaking hands with the public!

Was it not because there wasn’t enough evidence ?

Lost123454 · 26/12/2022 09:33

He will do as he likes

You don't think a church has ever banned anyone? I guarantee that they have.

Are you a Christian?

Exactly my take.
I think Andrew is loathsome, and I'd really prefer not to see him again.
The alleged incident happened in the UK where the age of consent is 16, he's such an entitled twat he would have thought he was still a catch.
Much as I'd rather never see him again I can't deny he has the right to attend church, and he was only seen walking in, he didn't do the public meet and greet afterwards.

Prescottdanni123 · 26/12/2022 09:45

@knittingaddict

What would they be banning him for? He hasn't been tried and found guilty, so until that happens he is innocent in the eyes of the law.

I'm not saying PA should be banned from church, although it would be more diplomatic to exclude him from performative church going, which is what the RF walk to church thing is. If PA is a practicing Christian I will eat my hat.

I was discussing rumpers argument that all people, regardless of their crimes (they don't have to be convicted in a court of law) are welcome in a church service. I'm sure the leaders would meet up with them on other occasions to talk to them, but I'm 100% sure that certain people can and will be excluded from a Sunday service for things they have done.

chary · 26/12/2022 09:56

Although there's no evidence of course that he has actually sinned. But don't let that get in the way for you

why do you think he was stripped of his military titles & public use of HRH?

knittingaddict · 26/12/2022 09:58

Forgiveness is dependent on repentance.

I obviously am of the opinion that PA is guilty of something heinous. His behaviour after the event speaks for itself.

Novella4 · 26/12/2022 10:07

The royals are showing you exactly who they are

Andrew was being protected by the Queen at first ( a disgraceful fact in itself ) now he is being publicly included in their PR church walk ,
Remember the outrage when he was seen in the car with the queen at the same church/ P R event ?
Any howls now ?
Of course not - all the howls are for the Meghan hate figure the MSM created for the royals as a useful distraction
There was also the 'leak' that Charlie will be paying for Andrew's security - he isn't by the way- the tax payer is, as they ultimately do for everything. All the royals have,
they stole .

Next he'll be appearing more and more as the royalists are trained to accept him

Luckily royalists do as they are told and don't ask any questions , never mind asking difficult questions

Samcro · 26/12/2022 10:08

pmsl at the posters saying this was a private family event.
if it was it would be done in private. not in front of cameras and the public.
it was a very public endorsement of a sexual predator.

Novella4 · 26/12/2022 10:09

Peter Ball , Andrew and Epstein ,
Saville , Charles' uncle Mountbatten-

no doubt more yet to be uncovered
It's so obvious

Hobbi · 26/12/2022 10:11

Her age is irrelevant, the law ( and international law) state that trafficked persons cannot give consent. The law also states that ignorance of a person's trafficked status is no defence. I suppose one could think she was somehow the only young woman at Maxwell's/Epstein's parties who wasn't trafficked, but only if one is desperate to find a defence for sex offenders.

Novella4 · 26/12/2022 10:14

Thank you .

I am sickens by the repeated defence of Andrew with 'her age'

I thought I'd get used to this disgusting argument but I never have

Novella4 · 26/12/2022 10:17

antelopevalley · 25/12/2022 18:12

And you want to pretend it is a personal family event? Then stop claiming it as part of your 100 public engagements a year then.

Ha!
Is that true ?

I know it's PR like the rest but good god that's bare faced

I suspect that 'crowd' was vetted as well

MrsSkylerWhite · 26/12/2022 10:20

Not sure exactly how you’d stop someone appearing in a public place if they were determined to go there?

Puzzledandpissedoff · 26/12/2022 10:21

I think if he had any sense or wanted to avoid damaging the monarchy, he would have stayed in the background and not done the walkabout

Absolutely this; however his entitled and boorish nature - and that's something we do know about - means he'll continue to do mostly what he wants and hang the consequences to anyone else

And apologies for repeating myself, but I still believe Charles may be in no position to risk offending his brother too much

Novella4 · 26/12/2022 10:22

Really ?

All the laughable 'protocol ' that they pore over and Andrew can just rock up
Yeah right .

This is planned approval of Andrew .
There will be more

.......................
Because he was under suspicion, legal action pending. Either resigning or being sacked is the normal thing in any organisation.

Novella4 · 26/12/2022 10:24

My reply was to @MrsSkylerWhite

But it is also possible that Andrew has the goods on Charles too and must be kept sweet .
I bet they are all sweating now mummie's gone

chary · 26/12/2022 10:25

@LBFseBrom so now nothing is pending he will be reinstated?
