If you watched all of Netflix H&M

I have finally watched all episodes. It was much better than I was expecting and bore no resemblance to what was talked about for hours and hours by some posters on here.
I am interested in discussing the programme with people who have watched it all. What struck me was:

1. Harry clearly says Charles leaked the content of Harrys private letter to Charles, to the press.
2. William when younger had agreed with Harry that neither of them would behave as Charles had with his press office. But William went back on that and behaved the same way.
3. The Palace leaked the location of where Harry and Meghan were staying in Canada.
4. The small number of social media accounts run by mainly white middle-aged women who push hate for both of them but especially Meghan.
5. The myth that Meghan is controlling Harry is recognised by him as misogyny.

I think they were clearly right to leave.

But what about her baby shower?

Before the wedding when her half sister was kicking off, the leaks from the Palace were that they'd advised to invite awkward family members because if they're on the inside, they're less likely to make trouble. A bit like keeping your enemies closer.

She never said there was 'zero contact'. She said she felt their contact was being 'managed '.

When H&M left, things went back to normal.

That was to the wedding. She invited her to the baby shower but left her niece out.

And you saw the people at the baby shower.

Most are socialites and celebrities. There were no homebodies like Doria - which Ashley sounds like. As we saw her, she likes spending one on one time with MM and the kids. Baking and all that. Just as Doria does.

Her Suits husband, who has come out defending her was not there, neither were a lot of the colleagues who regularly defend her.

Not sure why you think Ashley should be forced to go out of her way to get with people who may or may not have anything in common with her.

Meghan texted her two years after they'd moved to Canada. So not when they left.

It must have gone to zero contact because Meghan said she 'reconnected' with her. You can't reconnect with someone you're already connected with.

Meghan dropped her. She was in touch with all her friends, we know they were visiting her. Simple truth is Meghan decided not to keep in touch. But when you're the sort of person who takes zippo responsibility for anything, it's natural to try put the blame on other people.

Does anyone else think that @notanotheroneagain is actually winding us all up ? I refuse to believe that someone would 100% believe all the stuff spouted by H and M .
Not even a tiny little doubt when blatant contradictions arise ( aka lies) ?

So the baby shower was a celeb event, not a celebration with the mother to bes nearest and dearest but a scripted event done for show rather than to share a joyous occasion with people closest to her.

More like people who had a lot of things in common, I would think.

Just like you would have one from your colleagues,as well as family separately.

Been to lots of work baby showers. and family was not invited.

There were lots of famous people at a very famous wedding. Ashley wanted to go to that. Are you honestly saying that she didn't invite Ashley because she wouldn't be able to mix with famous people?? She invited an unfamous woman called Lindsay Roth. Ashley, who Meghan called her little sister and best friend, could have hung out with her. Could have, only by the time if the babu showet, Meghan had stopped speaking to Ashley.

So Serena Williams is a colleague rater than a friend? And why would Lindley Roth, who no one's ever heard of, be there?

Hold on, MM did not invite the attendees of the baby shower, the organisers did. This was supposed to be a nice little surprise for her.

A surprise ? So who packed her cases and took her to her private jet etc ?
Incidentally how did she get there if her passport was kept from her !?

These people did not mean any harm.
It was a party they organised with who they knew and thought of. Nothing more than that.

Dirty jokes would have been told (like how you got pregnant etc. the usual banter), so I can see how family would not be invited. Been through enough of these kind of things to know. Highly doubt her family minded about not being invited, tbh.

MM was super close to her Suits colleagues, they were not invited. Some came to the wedding. Doubt they cared one way or the other. they have defended her.

It wasn't a surprise! She had to go find her elusive passport and book a flight. How did they know who to invite without her input? How did they know who her close friends were? Why would they invite Gayle King who she hardly knew without her say so?

I think there's certainly someone reaching.

Yes, a surprise if they tell her to come on over to the US for a babyshower she never planed for or knew about long in advance.

Amazing that she managed to wrestle her passport from those awful people in BP/KP .
She went by private jet ( of course).

But if she wasn’t allowed out to meet friends for lunch how on earth did she manage to get her passport to go to an unknown destination?

There were several people there with her. Were they not the security?

One of the few times she was allowed out. Turns out, they would then lie to the press about how much the baby shower cost, ofcourse.

Ashley could have hung out with her grandad Thomas Markle surely - who was coming until a few days before…..
