There is evidence he raped a child.

I wouldn't say that is no evidence. It's not proof, I agree with that. But did he bother to ask her age?
She'd have to be below the age of 13 for the term you used. There's another term for 11-14 years old, approximately. I'm not sure there's one for older teens. I'd certainly call it disgusting, creepy, abusive. But not the P word though. Using the term I correctly actually undermines what he was involved in. It was really bad enough. Calling it something else in away let's him get away with it because supporters can say "But, well, she wasn't 6." No, but that doesn't make it ok that she was older and sex trafficked!!

Will he come back in in the future
I doubt it! I do wonder how it feels to be the first born with all the weight of that, and see your mother favourite your younger party-boy brother. I can only imagine it wasn't easy. And then you get into power. His bringing your institution into disrepute gives you the perfect opportunity to slim down, as you'd previously said you would. Would be odd to let him in. He probably couldn't wait to get him out!

If peadophile doesn’t cover the rape of a 13/14 yr old (never to mind 11 yr old), then the legal meaning of the word needs to change.

an adult who is attracted to 14 yr olds is a peadophile. To suggest that there is a difference between being adults being attracted to a 14 yr old and adults being attracted to a 10 yr old is splitting hairs. The 10 yr old and the14 yr old are both physically immature and under the age of consent (or should be). An adult attracted to the 14 yr old has the same abnormalities that the adult attracted to the 10 yr old has. The difference is they are trading on the idea that legally they are not as vulnerable (providing the age of consent is 14). They are still peadophiles. They are just playing their sick game within the law.

Oh well… he always had that empty “goat stare”. Like there’s not much behind.

Soothsayer1 · 25/12/2022 13:17

@AutumnCrow thank you for your elucidation after I lazily referenced Jamal Khashoggi without researching it myself
nor any kind of thinker
Ain't that the truth, the car crash interview with Emily Maitlis, how can he be so dumb as to to think that we would swallow all that bs,, it beggars belief that he has such a simplistic view of the people

I agree, I suspect 'nonce' might cover it all as a sort of umbrella term?

Sandra1984 · 25/12/2022 13:28

Epstein job was to launder and hide the rich people money into tax heavens, apparently he was very good at it, he would keep
10% of it as payment for his services. That’s how he got rich (and other schemes), laundering money for the rich and the powerful for many years hence the reason he was so protected and got away with his crimes for such a long time. I always wondered if Prince Andrew was one of his clients? Was he laundering money for PC too?

And this is why Epstein death is
a bit like JFK assesination, we will never know the whole story because it’s not in the best interests of the rich and powerful for us or the government to know what they do with their money.

VioletLemon · 25/12/2022 13:36

Very satisfying to hear this!!

Soothsayer1 · 25/12/2022 13:39

I thought Epstein was more about manipulating the wealthy and Powerful by getting 'kompromat' on them?

Germolenequeen · 25/12/2022 13:50

@BeardyButton

Exactly this - also some people seem to have serious issues understanding what "trafficked" actually means 😑

Nothing more “Kompromat” than him having proof of the paper trail of your tax evaded 50 million dollars hiding in the Virgin Islands. You go to jail for that shit.

Yes so overwhelming is their desire to believe that a teenage girl wants to have sex with a fat old man 😔
Indulging their own vanity, advertising their sexual prowess to other men is their only priority

The word to cover 13/14 year olds is actually ‘hebephile’

I agree that nonce is a good catch all term though.

Yes,
although I'm inclined to think that having a royal in jail would be considered too much of a bad look for the country?

Hebephile as a word to me sounds too 'light'...
'nonce ' has the feel of a cosh

If you had to put in jail those who hide the big money into tax heavens Half of parliament would be in prison, I heavily suspect half of the royals would be too but I have no proof of the latter. But answering your question: no, a royal is never going to go to jail. Not going to happen.

AutumnCrow · 25/12/2022 14:34

'Nonce' is fine with me, if MNHQ allow it.

Very true the people that make the rules also make sure that they are not subjected to them
The rules are made by the rich and Powerful to protect the rich and Powerful

I wouldn’t trust the judgement of a man who had Jimmy Saville as a trusted advisor on anything whatsoever. You have to be pretty thick to have spent that amount of time with Saville and not noticed something seriously off about him.

Agree with that.

northernstars · 25/12/2022 16:27

@JaneJeffer I salute you

LBFseBrom · 25/12/2022 16:47

Savile was only an 'advisor' about certain issues, he also advised Margaret Thatcher (who thought the world of him), and many other prominent people. It's easy to forget how plausible and influential he was; I am nearly 73 and can remember the admiration he engendered when I was at school!

Even Louis Theroux was duped by Savile.

It's an unfortunate fact that prolific abusers with BIG secrets are manipulative and exceedingly seductive and charming. They cultivate acquaintanceships with those of hgh standing to provide cover for their activities.

We never know who we can trust, really. When all is revealed you hear people say, "Well he always was a bit dodgy", because everything suddenly falls into place.

I agree, I only ever saw him as a harmless weirdo, I feel that some of those who say they always knew may be (unintentionally) employing some hindsight

AutumnCrow · 25/12/2022 16:57

How the hell did MI5 not know Savile was a nonce?
