And no longer allowed to use it for correspondence apparently.

I reckon a lot of this is OPTICS for the peasants. Gets us talking, make them relevant yada yada.

Then in private, nothing changes.

(I also think the Big Brother Eviction Notice above is genius!)

So Andrew was HM’s favourite. Anne was the apple of Philip’s eye. Charles was born to be king. Where does that leave poor Edward who literally never gets a mention😂

Edward seems to be in a healthy marriage, wealthy, children seem well adjusted - that’s where

Spectre8 · 25/12/2022 10:03

The cynic in me says that the recent netflix series has upset them they want to take H&M title away but cant do that with Andrew still in the fold so they finally tossed him out. Perhaps when the book is out they will then revoke their titles.

Then again maybe they finally did the right thing. Who knows

To be fair, he can’t really win.
He does nothing, he’s supporting him.
He kicks him out, it’s just optics.

I’ve read they never really got along.
But who knows what’s true.

We’ll never really know, that’s the thing.
Unless KC does a sit down interview a la H&M, which obviously isn’t going to happen.

(And even then, is their truth the truth?)

A reminder of how he treated staff.

Very interesting watch thank you, with info from those closest to Andrew every day.

He was her son. It must have been incredibly difficult for her. Would be difficult for any mother to have to admit that her child is a sexual predator.

And this I think is the problem for royalty, especially a hugely wealthy hereditary monarchy that automatically produces the UK's Head of State.

The Queen wasn't just 'any mother'. Charles isn't just 'any father'. They were/are parents PLUS all the rest of it, and with those great privileges come great responsibilities. Andrew has quite palpably been 'letting the side down' and I imagine he is very difficult to deal with because the privilege has gone to his head over the decades.

Andrew has prioritised his own wants and privileges over his responsibilities for a long time, and it is a terrible look for the Royal Family that any of them can do this and get away with it. The Queen's indecision was pretty damaging to the monarchy (personal view).

Queenie was always covering his back, now she's gone it's open season on Andy👀

VladmirsPoutine · 25/12/2022 12:33

Andrew always has a look of terror when I see him in articles, I think he knew the gig was up when his mum died. The royals are having a tough time what with the Meghan and Harry fall out so there's no way Charles and William want Andrew popping up.

Soothsayer1 · 25/12/2022 12:38

Andrew always has a look of terror
He must know some extremely dodgy people, people with no scruples whatsoever, from whom mummy always protected him, he'd have felt safe in the knowledge that mummies protection would never end.... even if she wasn't there the rest of the family would protect him
oops

gogohmm · 25/12/2022 12:39

@sashh

In British law it's 16 for the age of consent not 18, the young lady in the news was 17. It's as creepy as it comes but strictly speaking not a crime if consensual

Shesasuperfreak · 25/12/2022 12:41

@notanotheroneagain very interesting video thank you

AutumnCrow · 25/12/2022 12:43

If you buy into the theory that Epstein was murdered, and it's possible that Andrew suspects that he was, then yeah I bet he feels bloody scared. Maybe that's what the desperation for security is all about - part privileged arsehole, part actual fear of being bumped off by the trafficking mafia.

bakalava · 25/12/2022 12:52

Andrew's face on the walkabout today. He looks like he has just spotted the ghost of Epstein 😂😂😂

TwoMonthsOff · 25/12/2022 12:55

FatPatsCat · 24/12/2022 21:43

I feel like this has gone completely under appreciated

Yes - superb work there!

Soothsayer1 · 25/12/2022 12:57

Is there some connection between him and the people who ordered khashoggi to be chopped up?
Or am I getting confused?

Soothsayer1 · 25/12/2022 13:00

He thought he could flirt with danger and not get burned, he thought he could have the 'glamour' of associating with the higher ups in criminal fraternities whilst keeping his hands clean.
When you sup with the devil bring a long spoon.....
dammit Andy you chose the wrong cutlery, you're a royal and you don't know what spoon to use🥄

bakalava · 25/12/2022 12:52

Yup, and I thought he looked keen to stay near the head of the procession. At first I thought he was being arrogant about having his supposed 'rightful place', but maybe he seeks solace in a crowd of senior royals and bodyguards so he doesn't feel so exposed.

But he goes out riding at Windsor, doesn't he? I wonder if he wears a Kevlar vest.

That Epstein connection is never, ever going to go away.

bakalava · 25/12/2022 13:03

@AutumnCrow Agree. He was trying to get to the front of the queue so that he could disappear inside quickly but he never managed it! I actually think that he is suffering the most acutely from the loss of HMQ who was Defender Of The Andrew throughout his life.

Soothsayer1 · 25/12/2022 13:04

I reckon he'll start employing a series of doubles/decoys

bakalava · 25/12/2022 13:06

The decoys will have to wear that ghastly expression for long periods of time. I hope he relaxes it indoors or else he will scare the baby grandchildren!

AutumnCrow · 25/12/2022 13:09

Soothsayer1 · 25/12/2022 12:57

I think so, in an oblique way. The common denominator is the Saudi government, which Andrew loves to 'deepen relationships' with. Agents of the Saudi government murdered Jamal Khashoggi.

The British government dances a very complicated routine with oil-rich Saudi Arabia, and Andrew should have kept his beak of out politics and the Saudi trough IMO. The Saudi regime is appalling, and Andrew is not a professional negotiator nor any kind of thinker.

The thought of Andrew even having a role in the UK's relationship with the Saudi regime is, to my mind, insane and unethical.
