I haven't RTFT and I'm no M and H fan. But this goes far beyond criticism - it's frightening. woman hating incitement to violence and I can't believe anyone can defend it.

If it's based on a GOT scene, is JC really suggesting that we push back to a medieval treatment of women where they can be abused and degraded on a man's say so. It's Handmaid's Tale made real.

This will totally feed into certain extreme male perspectives and the fact that he wants her 'naked' adds a whole perverted sexuality to it.

I feel scared reading this in a national newspaper. Insert the word 'Jew' or 'Muslim' for MM and see if that isn't hate crime.

I loved Clarkson's Farm but will never watch it again. I hope it destroys his career, think he should be cancelled and we should show this isn't acceptable in a civilised society.

Half baked “apology” from Clarkson but the damage is done. Inciting violence with some weird sexual imagery - vile. Even his daughter had condemned his comments. The Sun needs to be called out and censured for publishing it - the column was given the go ahead by a woman. Shocker

H&M claimed that MM was subjected to racism at the Palace.
A couple of weeks ago, Lady Susan Hussey was racist to a black guest at the Palace. Lady Susan was a Lady-in-waiting assigned to MM to help her acclimatise to royal life.

H&M claimed the British press were hateful and dangerous to them.
A couple of days ago Jeremy Clarkson wrote a disgusting, sexist, misogynist rant against MM. The Sun published it.

It's starting to look like H&M have a point.

@pelargoniums I’ve really only seen a handful here defending it. They, like Raspberry whatever and rumship have been quite vocal so it might seem like more. And the poster that is doing the “whataboutpedos” posts ever few hours clearly thinks it’s fine.

The way the OP was worded was intentionally divisive and you’ll always have a few that just want to debate, but people on the whole seem to agree it was vile.

Racism is not always overt. It has ways of hiding its ugly face. Whether you think there is an undercurrent of racism or not in that article, Clarkson has been very overtly racist in the past. Ergo, it is 💯 percent correct to call him a racist.
