Is a piece of shit. I refuse to link to his article in which he explicitly says he hates her and can't wait for the day he can physically assault her.

Can the Kate sycophants tell me again how this all happened to her and is totally normal and acceptable?

It’s not necessary to be pro H&M or anti royal family to be disgusted by Jeremy Clarkson’s article and the Sun newspaper. I have always thought that the no comment approach and ‘don’t complain, don’t explain’ was the best but now I do think it’s time for the royal family to condemn this.

Yep. Sunlight is the best disinfectant. I’m a die-hard republican but I would gain 10 respects for Chuck, Camilla and the heir if they spoke out and condemned this – and not in a mealy-mouthed Buck Pal way but a proper rebuke. We know they have opinions and tempers: they should use them.

The RF have turned off comments on their posts. What are they hiding from? The truth by any chance

That's a bit odd, isn't it? I don't follow any Royals on any social media so have no idea if that is normal or not?

I wouldn't be 'hiding away'. Far from it. I would be making a point. And much easier to make a point from the position Camilla is in. It's not 'hiding away' if you make it clear why you will not be attending.

Of course he shouldn't have been invited in the first place but I know nothing about the man who laid on the party. I will go and look.

But that’s how YOU would deal with it.

That was my point. You seem to believe things should be dealt with how you say they should. And if they don’t, You will assume all sorts of subtext.

There isn’t a right or wrong way. Just different.

bloodyplanes · 19/12/2022 12:38

Irl who the hell would step up and defend someone who has made your life a misery? Absolutely no one unless you are a complete hypocrite! Why should charles, Camilla and william be any different? Even if they do condemn this article it will be meaningless because they will only be doing it after being put under pressure to!

It’s normal when people are dealing with trolls and threats. As I am sure is the case.

I suspect based on the way you designed your OP, to maximize the arguments, that you know exactly how the internet works.

Has Chalres Windsor come out yet to condemn the disgusting attack in his daughter in law ?

Ordinary people across the nation are revolted and there is silence from the palace
We are supposed to 'look up to the royals'
What a great example to set

It's different points of view, that's all.

You call it 'hiding away'

I call it 'making a point'

Why should he after her incessant attacks on his family?

So you are already writing the narrative that if they do condemn the article, they won't actually mean it, but it will be because of pressure. Hmm

bloodyplanes · 19/12/2022 12:46

@Roussette well if they cared and wanted to defend her they would have already done so would they not? I can't say i blame them for not giving a shit either, i most certainly wouldn't be defending a Dil who had behaved as she has!

EdieLedwell · 19/12/2022 12:39

Interesting.

Probably not hiding from anything - I should imagine they've been turned off because of abuse and vitriol. It doesn't matter who the abuse is aimed at - it's wrong.

@bloodyplanes Exactly so both Migrain and Hasbeen were finding freedom and had to escape the clutches of the royal family. The same family the ones calling for them to speak up accuse them of rasism bulling ect.

They now expect their help, I thought they did not want part of them? Oh yes i forgot they want their titles and status to trade on when it suits them.

AliceOlive · 19/12/2022 12:52

@kirinm classy!

rumship · 19/12/2022 12:55

@kirinm Oh yes Sparkels had it soooo hard, I mean she sufferd for at least 18 months (less than two years) and worked for 72 days as a senior member of the Royal Family since marrying Prince Harry.

She obviously had to suffer more than any one else..... 😂

Can you stop with the childish names?

And it’s not H&M calling for anything. It’s a small group of people who use every ounce of their time propping you those two and trying to tear down their perceived enemies.

I don’t for a moment think anyone in that family agrees with or enjoys the nastiness that JC wrote.

I can only presume that childish nicknames are all a poster has if it is incessant. It must make them giggle a lot.

To me, it just looks juvenile and negates any content of any post with it in.

(Cue the poster calling me thick and stupid and not knowing what I'm talking about)

He is a lot of things but not a paedophile

MotherofKitties · 19/12/2022 13:07

I normally like Clarksons sense of humour and he's clearly used references from Game of Thrones in a tongue in cheek manner on this particular topic, but I don't think this should have been printed.

I'm fairly ambivalent in terms of attitudes towards Harry and Meghan and do take what they say with a pinch of salt, but given the current climate all this does is fan the flames of media sensationalism against her and is unnecessary. He could have phrases his opinion better and it comes across very poorly and in bad taste.

I agree with PP that a false apology will be forthcoming rather soon.
