Is a piece of shit. I refuse to link to his article in which he explicitly says he hates her and can't wait for the day he can physically assault her.

Can the Kate sycophants tell me again how this all happened to her and is totally normal and acceptable?

No it doesn’t. That’s what you decided it shows.why should Camilla not go to something she wants to because someone she may not like is attending. Why should she hide away?

As I said before, for all we know she may have told the host to keep PM away from them. Or called Piers Morgan a dickhead to his face. We have no clue what Camillas opinion on PM is.

Again, why are we trying to assign blame to a woman, when the actions in question are a man’s?

How many knots will you tie yourself in, to throw some crap the way of a woman? First Camilla was hosting a lunch JC attended. Then she had lunch with him. Now it doesn’t matter that the lunch was before the column because PM happened to be there.

I absolutely wouldn’t avoid going to something I had planned on going to because a misogynist twat was also going to be there. Don’t see why Camilla should either.

I don’t think attending an event means Camilla necessarily agrees with Piers Morgan. But Piers Morgan spends so much of his time ranting about Meghan and Harry that I do think it was a poor decision to attend if she knew he was there. His only mission in life seems to be to pull Meghan and Harry apart. He is a ridiculous man who had become a caricature of himself. Regardless of opinions, anyone would do well to distance themselves from people like that.

LimeCheesecake · 18/12/2022 15:18

@MrsTumblebee - yes, the Clarkson article came after the lunch, but Morgan was at the lunch too - the fact Piers Morgan can write so much bile about Camila’s step-DIL and Camila is still is happy to attend non-state events he is at (and she knows he will be at), does give the impression to others in the press (and wider public) Camila is fine with shit being written about her SDIL.

You can attend a large gathering and not come within spitting distance of certain others there. In fact it’s the perfect kind of gathering to attend if you want to avoid someone else there.

TallGrassInTheSun · 18/12/2022 15:45

I actually think all Clarkson article will result in will be support and sympathy for Meghan. My son popped to our local shop earlier and he said there were a few people saying they’re not Meghan fans but the article is too much.

LosingTheWill2022 · 18/12/2022 15:46

I expect he was imagining exactly how much rage this would provoke amongst people who don't like the joke

I disagree @Anklespraying . I think he simply wrote exactly what he thinks. The fact that it would cause outrage was a bonus. He doesn't care whether or not he is liked or vilified. He only likes the sound of his own voice.

Does anyone who is not closely following the whole H&M saga actually know about this: “thought leader and changemaker”?
so clearly between that and “actress” you have some feelings about MM.

Like many posting here, I really don’t defend these two, but it’s not ok to write about fantasizing about the humiliation of any woman while lying in bed. If you don’t intuitively understand that, there’s no hope any of us can explain it to you or change your mind.

See my comments about the 4.4 billion dollars of revenue for 80 hours of Game of Thrones most of which was basically the humiliation of women for male fantasising whether in bed or on the sofa.

This. Not a good look to be seen hobnobbing with the man known as Meghan's most obsessed, spurned bully. It might not have been her event but she'd have known who was invited and didn't have to go. That was a choice.

the thing is, turn that around and that is exactly what Harry and Meghan did in the Oprah interview. They knew their insinuation of a "racist" comment - unproven - would stir a whole load of shit up over here, together with all their other provable lies, but went ahead because it gave good viewing figures. Meghan certainly likes the sound of her own voice and the Sussex approach tends to be, any publicity is good publicity. Which is why we had Oprah, and interviews, and podcasts and netflix.....

LosingTheWill2022 · 18/12/2022 15:50

Nor is he clever enough to make a 'joke' . He has simply taken someone else's idea and used it. Laziness. No joke. No layers. Appropriation of a popular reference - lazy 'journalism'.

Perhaps Camilla wanted to meet Judi Dench. Why should she hide away because of MN disapproval?

Since she and Judi are close friends, I'm sure it could have been arranged some other way. But then I believe she's friendly with Clarkson and Morgan too.

LosingTheWill2022 · 18/12/2022 15:54

SallyLockheart nothing that M or H said or did had any impact on JC.
What JC wrote was directed specifically at M. It was personal, grotesque and directed at M alone.

LosingTheWill2022 · 18/12/2022 15:56

Did your husband enjoy the rape scene in GoT?
What the fuck are you on about?

So because lots of people enjoyed watching a programme depicting the fictional humiliation of female characters, ergo it’s OK to speculate about the fictional humiliation of a single real-life woman?

Inkanta · 18/12/2022 16:02

There's a lot of condemnation on twitter actually for JC with references also made to disappointment with the Royal Family. I think the RF don't realise that people are becoming less reliant on the tabloids who twist the truth. People can find the truth easily without the printed press.

SnottyLottie · 18/12/2022 16:06

Why bring Camilla into this? Why does she have to hide away and not attend an event that she wants to go to (ignoring the fact this party occurred before the article was printed) because two of the anti Meghan brigade were in attendance? She doesn’t pick the guest list. Why is she being held responsible or culpable for something SHE hasn’t said. The responsibility lies solely with Jeremy Clarkson (and Piers Morgan) yet people are bringing Camilla into the equation 🙄

It’s so irrational.

It's becoming a pattern with Camilla. Hired an ex Daily Mail staffer. Angela Levin who traffics in conspiracy theories about Meghan was given access to a tour/close friends to write an unauthorised biography. Now lunching with Piers and Jeremy, doesn't paint a good picture.

Yes - she's not coming across lily white.

I don't know what you mean by ok?

It's quite clearly a human behaviour that is popular and mainstream. The woman from Bake off hosted the live fan show, she seemed to absolutely love it.

Haha so you think any one cares about what people say on twitter, it's a cesspit and always will be. Please don't delude yourself twitter has any bearing on real life or is a medium to change public opinion.

😂

SallyLockheart · 18/12/2022 16:17

hate to disappoint you but twitter is real life

SallyLockheart · 18/12/2022 16:18

twitter isn't real life!! correction!

Haha to you too! You need to know where to go and who to read - much like on here.

SnottyLottie · 18/12/2022 16:23

@tatalan With all due respect, suspicious patterns don’t equal proof, just as correlation doesn’t equal cause.
