You keep talking about the popularity of Game of Thrones as some sort of defence of Clarkson reimagining its fiction redirected at a specific real woman. It doesn’t matter if GoT was the most popular show ever in existence, or what percentage of men enjoy watching/reading fiction based around women’s sexual humiliation.

What does “the woman from Bake Off” loving a tits and dragons show have to do with Clarkson’s deranged hatred of Meghan Markle?

This is what I don’t get. The likes of Angela Levin continue to trash your step son and his wife and you invite her to your home.
Yet you claim you would welcome Harry and Meghan back into the family.
This simply gives credence to Meghan and Harry’s claim that members of the RF conspired against them

Jeremy Clarkson. His wonderful daughter Emily has just put out a statement on her instagram account. "I stand against everything that my Dad wrote about Meghan Markle". FYI Emily has spoken many times about how she suffered very badly from online abuse when she was younger

Piers Morgan's campaign against MM has been going on for a long time.The RF are surely aware of how any association with Piers Morgan was going to be perceived this week of all weeks? And if they're not aware, they should be.

They are not coming across well at all.

I'm no fan of Meghan, but JC is beneath contempt. I'm struggling to believe that it is even legal to publish such a sickening rant.

My biggest gripe with Clarkson is the way he's made it cool to race around in noisy cars. For years now I (and my neighbours) have been complaining about stupid little boy racers flying around the country lanes near me causing accidents. The worst thing is the noise. Right now I can hear one. The engines are so loud they sound like planes coming in to land. And the little b*ards do something to their exhausts to make them bang and explode. They even wake me up. I could hear one at 5am this morning. I'm sick to death of it. And that obnoxious idiot Clarkson and his ridiculous show only encourages them.

I think the Royals are coming across terribly. This is one instance where silence is not at all appropriate. I can’t imagine being able to stomach a lunch with someone who had written such things about my stepdaughter. It’s just appalling. How can we stand against violence and support women while at the same time, silencing supporting abuse?Because that’s what this is.

I don’t like the noisy cars either but my biggest gripe is his misogyny, misogynoir, and incitement to hatred and violence against women, rather than a boys’ toys show.

They stood silent when their newborn nephew was compared to an animal by a renowned journalist. They choose what they respond to and racism and sexism isn't a priority, they welcome and encourage it.

I wonder who advises them. Piers Morgan is someone already known to make a big deal out of criticising Meghan. And that is his face grinning from attending party. And soon after, someone else from that party writes the most disgusting thing. Something in previous articles is shown as someome the Queen hangs out with.

Harry and Meghan have spoken about the invisible contract between the RF and the media. They feed them/endorse negative stories as a bargaining chip for positive press for themselves. The fact that both Piers Morgan and JC were at this lunch the day before the article was printed gives weight to this. Who in their right mind would lunch with someone who your daughter in law tells you had driven them to the brink of suicide? Camilla is patron of DV charities so no-one can say that it was out of her hands. This is the kind of thing she should come down hard on.
