People also seem to have forgotten JC's n word incident a while back. He first lied then when audio was revealed, he acknowledged he said it and was 'begging for forgiveness' but decent people who genuinely abhor racism simply don't casually use that word. They just don't.

Absolutely. I strongly dislike Katie Hopkins but if a journalist / celebrity / anyone said they dream of her being publicly stripped naked, paraded through the streets and have excrement thrown at her I would unequivocally say it was a disgusting, disturbing and wrong thing to say.

It's as if people think that if they say the way someone has criticised MM is wrong, they're saying she's great. So they defend the indefensible. It's perfectly possible to say you aren't a MM fan but think what JC said is disgusting and indefensible.

Yet many (not all) MM critics seem unwilling or unable to do so. Even when the language is this violent and hateful.

I haven't read it and refuse to click on anything that is in the Sun but from what I've seen discussed about it the article sounds vile and I hope there will be consequences for him. What are you talking about? No one thinks JC is threatening to take action himself.
He has said in plain English what he would like to happen to a named woman. The fact that what the grotesque actions would like to happen depicted in a scenario from GOT doesn't matter.
