Nothing wrong with it if your husband is happy to pay for you to do it. But there is something wrong when the taxpayer is paying for it, and you’re basically swanning around in designer dresses doing very little that could constitute work, relaxing in massive properties with your privately-educated kids, while much of the country is in actual poverty.

Well, yes. You are quite correct. Just all this ridiculous stuff about her being so uber talented at everything she does, so perfect she might walk on water etc. She is just a flesh and blood woman who married a rich, titled man. Nothing she does is awe inspiring. She dresses up, utters inconsequential small talk etc then gets chauffered home. It isn't rocket science.

Well partly because the child mentioned the Montecito duo and partly to show that this woman's indiscretions are totally glossed over and excuses made at every turn here and other places. One rule for one and another for the other royal wife.

What you've posted shows it's not one rule for one and another for the 'royal wife' . All it's shown is that Kate has been on the receiving end of some pretty horrible tabloid crap exactly the same as Meghan has. The tiktok video (is that where we get our news from now?), I couldn't actually hear what the child was supposed to have said, Kate says 'what else' - was she supposed to go into a full blown analysis of Harry and Meghan's media crusade with a, what, seven year old? Okaaaaay.

No, you criticised her for how you think she'd live her life if she'd married a banker. You sneered at SAHMs and you did it because you don't like her. You wanted to make a nasty comment about her.

Quite clearly she isn't a SAHM now. She does a lot of engagements and has got busier since being Princess of Wales, and will get even busier again when she becomes Queen. When you're retired at 67, she'll still be working and her workload will have increased. Just like Charles's did at 73.

Again, lots out there. Just go and look. There were even subtitles on the video and you can hear the child. It was also reported in several British newspapers

I couldn't hear the child. The subtitles read 'Like Harry and Meghan ' (which I'm assuming is what the child said) and 'what else'. So I'm none the wiser. The clip was about 6 seconds long. Kate said 2 words. 2 words.

No. It was all well reported on at the time in the Press. William was witnessed jumping on nightclub tables shouting 'I'm free!' after he dumped her. She has no professional background. Nobody raved about her beauty in the ten years that she was just the girlfriend. Even during their engagement interview the emphasis was on friendship not love. She does come up short compared other commoner women who married royalty in Europe. She did hang around so much that Harry nicknamed her 'The Limpet' and W's security staff referred to her as a mattress (which I do think is awful!). She is very underwhelming if you strip the titles away. She would be lucky to make mid-level management in the real world. Just unimpressed with her despite the lionisation she has with everyone talking her up. Frankly, if anyone should be embarrassed, it should be Kate for wasting one of the best educations that money can buy, being too lazy to actually go and get a career and consistently being one of the RF with the lowest tally of engagements consistently. I don't think she is all sugar and spice despite the spin. She was awful to Beatrice pre-marriage and deliberately humiliated her. Rolled her eyes at charity engagements. Was seen and heard saying really bitchy things to Pippa about a top tennis player's wife at Wimbledon.Was rather off with schoolkids when they asked about Meghan and Harry etc etc. The mask slips occasionally. If anyone should feel embarrassed it is those that make the slushy fangirl comments about how 'perfect', 'classy' etc she is. What I say may be an inconvenient truth but it was all very well-documented at the time. It has all been reinvented in recent times as some Mills and Boon story but Carole had to lean on William for him to propose!

Except it is legitimate video footage and no, not just the Mail but other news outlets. Like I said, there are many fans who will excuse anything Kate does and thatvis their perogative and they dislike it when her 'perfect' reputation is called into question or reportage over the years show that things weren't so perfect. There is a huge trend towards revisionism where the RF are concerned. Without the status, power and privilege, they are all pretty dismal people.

Honestly these claims about nightclubs and nicknames would make a National e journalist embarrassed with how unsubstantiated and ridiculous they are.

Also embarrassed for anyone in this day and age who thinks ‘reported in the press’ = must be factual.
