Why is it admirable to take a load of flack and remain silent? That’s the whole point. Women should not be kept to look beautiful and silent.
why is it admirable to do a Netflix doc? Ok your friends to speak to a mag? Lie in court? Oprah?
write a letter to your dad with the prospect of it being published? Interviews ?

none of these id call admirable ,

it’s admirable when you move to another country and become independent and earn your own money, but to monetise the very family/establishment you clearly hate is just so wrong and desperate , and reflects negatively on you.

The obvious point is Kate and William aren't whinging about their privilege, I'm sure they're well aware that they live very golden lives,while Harry and Meghan, sitting in their multi million dollar mansion in California are doing nothing but whinge.

What lies @cox William and Kate are briefing Daily Mail journalists day and night. They whinge through the Daily Mail and Uncle Gary.

No-one compared their newborn to an animal either so the comparative racism to respond to is just not there. Their puppets at the Daily Mail whinge anyhow and force their agenda through.

The only story we, the public have is what the media wanted us to - that is exactly why they made the Netflix series. They have put their side now, and clarified the extent of the press intrusion and the failure of RF to help them with it, and now hopefully all can move on.

I feel no particular warmth towards any of them - I do not know them. But Kate's extreme thinness is not healthy.

Women who marry in to the "firm" seem to get a raw deal. The difference is that Kate is prepared to go along with it all - e.g. curtsey to your spouse's grandmother (what nonsense is that in the 21st century) tolerate the press intrusion etc. - whereas Meghan has said "Hold on a cotton-picking minute, this is bollocks and I do not want my children to grow up in this atmosphere!"

Both valid stances.

If they are aware and grateful for their privilege they would step up their work. They are lazy and have shocking work ethic.

@Mischance it's quite possible that Kate's thinness is now caused by anxiety and stress caused by waiting for the next load of shit aimed at her from across the pond. However much they try and not read the Sussex's attacks, they will be aware of it. imagine just waiting to read/hear what lies have been told about you on a daily basis. Choices usually are comfort eat or fret away the weight.

@SallyLockheart far more likely if you look at the most recent weight loss is that it is due to her husband’s wandering eye which has been known about for years in my part of the world but came to a head with an affair that was a bit close to home even for Kate.

As for her physique, she is very slim, yes. But she is also very toned, as photos of her at sporting events show. As you can see in the shot of her playing tennis with Emma Raducanu, Kate basically has the physique of an athlete. I don’t see people saying athletes are unhealthy? Because they are not basically - to build and maintain that kind of lean muscle, particularly as a woman in your late 30s/early 40s, you have to eat. And eat quite a bit. Kate is obviously very disciplined about what she eats, but her physique doesn’t lie - she doesn’t starve herself. She couldn’t have toned legs like that if she did.

I'm not sure working on the BT Global Challenge in the Solent is quite the same as working on an oligarch's yacht in the Med or the Caribbean, but nice try!

Are you really in a position to confirm that - have you checked everything everyone who is an anti-monarchist posted on so late media at the time? Somehow I think not.

Someone posted a photo on social media of William and Kate holding a photoshopped alien instead of Prince Louis when they left hospital after his birth.

Others posted things like "F* off you little lizard. The last thing we need is another parasite leeching off hard working folk #RoyalBaby". "Well that's another one us tax payers will have to fund. No, not an asylum seeker ... another bloody Royal!!" another wrote.

It should come as no surprise to any of the posters on this thread that the Royal family are not universally popular in the UK, and any people have very strong feelings against them all as representatives of an institution they despise. I have never understood why Meghan’s fans think she should have been exempt from this when she was a royal.

‘Yacht girl’ and ‘yachting’ is used as a euphemism for an expensive prostitute.

While I absolutely agree Meghan was nothing of the sort, using this term to describe Kate with the attached implications because she was a deckhand on a boat for a short time is disgusting.

Kate is a purposefully inoffensive woman who I think has basically turned herself into the wife/Princess William and the RF as a whole seem to want and successfully hidden her real personality behind a persona in public to do so and remain sane.

Neither she nor Meghan deserve the stick they get/got from the press no matter what they are ‘really’ like, which I’m fairly sure no one on this thread knows for sure for either of them.

I had read she had worked on yatchs other's presumptions are down to them. I had only ever come across the term in regards to Meghan.

sorry but this argument is bad. many top sports people have incredibly disordered eating. I'm not a tennis fan so can't comment on that, but the sport I follow has a massive history eating disorders, food restriction, and coaches actively taking food from athletes. I'm not saying Kate does or doesn't have issues with food, but you can't say that her athletic body proves she doesn't.

Comparisons to a lizard are not racist and would apply to all royal babies in that context of the 'yet more scroungers' narrative. This would have applied to Archie too.
The racial slurs against Harry's newborn were racist and were not applicable to other royal babies.
