Also, I find it mortifying that they 'juggled' Commonwealth countries while deciding where they might like to install themselves - New Zealand was considered, then South Africa before they alighted on Canada. The arrogance and entitlement there, then they turn around and diss those countries as part of Empire 2.0. So disrespectful to other countries, it makes my toes curl.

I really can’t imagine William screaming and shouting. I heard the footage that was recorded when he confronted a photographer taking pictures of his children when they were out on a bike ride. He was obviously absolutely furious and wanted to throttle the guy but even then his ‘shouting’ voice was raised but not particularly loud.

And as for Harry feeling ‘terrified’..😂

harry has obviously caught the ‘acting’ bug - living in Hollywood.

I read ages ago from a credible source that H&M had asked for Windsor Castle(nice and castley - mediaeval banquet, even, and near Heathrow). The plan seemed to be to set up a more glamorous rival court full of A listers and leave fusty old William and Kate to the community centres in Huddersfield. Clearly the plan got the bum’s rush, as no way does the “spare” get to bag the best property.

I’m old, so I’ve seen the royal popularity cycle happen again and again. For example, when the Duke of Gloucester and Prince Michael of Kent married, there was a brief time when their comparatively young and glamorous wives got far more press attention than the other royal women. Then Diana arrived, and they became invisible. Then When Andrew married Fergie, the attention was all on her for a while, with some side eye at Diana for being less spontaneous and fun

But inevitably, it is ‘on to the next thing’. Had Harry and Meghan stayed , they would only have been interesting until George and Charlotte became teens, started dating, etc

Still, they're having the life of Riley-living in luxury in a world where being shouted at counts as terrified.
