My attention though is on this terribly constraining system which appears to not actually impose any controls. Ok episode 3 complete. Not much else going on.

More blah blah. I do think they are coming off better than the bitter Oprah. And it’s interesting to see their perspective.

I do still think it has this victim hood air to it that I can’t compute. It jumbles my head. The whole oh I lived a real reality. Travelled the world and saw poverty and normal people. Thought I understood life. Yet here we are twenty first century Britain. Racism everywhere. Paparazzi on every corner and I could only find peace on my private acreage. How awful I had to smile for cameras of newspapers which has said horrible things. And I also acknowledge all horrible things we did as a family many hundreds of years ago.

It surely is a different reality. And my reality this morning was waiting 3 hours for a delayed 111 urgent appointment in a minus temperature NHS waiting room packed to the rafters with a 7 month old with strep symptoms which resulted in me getting pissed on because I darent take babe to be changed as thought must be any moment now we are called.

I don’t think they will ever understand real life for most brits. And for that I can’t blame them because how could they. But it does grate. Because I am like ffs kids just enjoy your life. You have everything required to live it. Financial security, access to instant private healthcare, choice of education for your children, choice of living anywhere in the world. Your 40s now. You don’t need to be parading the town from bar to bar as a private person. Just go to a friends house for a party or for dinner, or off on a holiday in a private estate and put your feet up and do a crossword or whatever it is that takes your fancy.
