..but absolutely will be here for the threads to work out what has been said 😆

I have zero interesting in watching, not even seen the trailer, but I do enjoy reading people discussing it.

OP posts:

So even though most of these threads are full of shit and totally reliant on tabloid stories and rumours, you'll rely on them for an honest review of the documentary that you've already pre-judged.

Just about sums up these Harry and Meghan threads.

Netflix only care if you subscribe or not, not what you watch, I generally subscribe for about 4 months out of 12 and cancel about 2 or 3 times a year.

I'll watch it now simply because of the whitewash of media on every bloody tv show it seems, saying how awful they are! And by proxy anyone watching it 😂

I mean come on, when did people turn into such easily brainwashed sheep?

Watch what you want !

Make your own decisions!!

I am making my own decision - I'm making the decision not to watch 6 hours of nonsense.

OP if you are subscribed to The Times, Hillary Rose is a columnist who will probably watch it and give a funny version of it, which is more entertaining than having to sit through the real thing as far as I'm concerned.

chercez · 07/12/2022 16:36

I thought that it would be just a one part documentary but it's 6 episodes, 3 released tomorrow then 3 on the 15th.

If it was one hour I would probably watch but I'm not sitting through 6 parts.

I prefer to read what mumsnet has to say about it all.

Sweetpeasaremadeforbees · 07/12/2022 16:54

No I don't think I'll bother. Unless there's some revelation about Andrew shagging corgis or Kate's favourite programme being The Black and White Minstrel Show it's going to be OW mark 2 - lots of vague accusations just short of slander. Six episodes is mad, who has the time (or patience) for that?

I'm sure any major revelations will be all over the media and MN, that'll do me fine.

UncleFestersBaldHead · 07/12/2022 17:39

Definitely will watch. Intrigued by these two. Also be interested to watch the fall out although I think (they should IMO) the RF will say nowt and ride out the storm. I

I flounced from Netflix when the $100M deal was announced and put that as my reason for leaving. (I'm sure they are still struggling without my £5.99 😬).

Mine also.

so that makes 11.98.

DorritLittle · 07/12/2022 17:46

I don't have TV time to waste watching 6 hours of them but am obviously interested.

3peassuit · 07/12/2022 17:50

They can’t possibly be on $100 million from Netflix for that load of self pitying twaddle.

custardbear · 07/12/2022 17:55

JenniferBarkley · 07/12/2022 13:46

I'll be watching or I won't understand internet for at least a fortnight Grin

Absolutely! I also look forward to their lies being outed

I think we'll get the headline points from all sorts of outlets - no need to sit through the dross!

But if it was half as amusing as the trailers I would happily watch, I have a Netflix subscription to indulge my trashy side (and that of DD!)

momtoboys · 07/12/2022 18:31

I will never watch or purchase something that will enhance the lifestyle of H & M.

As daft as it may sound I’ve never thought of it that way. I’ve always considered to be Netflix the one who’ll make a profit out of it all.

superdupernova · 07/12/2022 18:36

I'm just waiting for the daily Mail to print every single detail. The same with Harry's book. No need to buy it out of curiosity, it will be in the public domain soon enough.

MajorCarolDanvers · 07/12/2022 18:38

I feel like I shouldn't.

But also want to peek.

ShamedBySiri · 07/12/2022 18:39

Definitely won't be watching both because I am appalled by their behaviour and wouldn't want to add to Netflix viewing figures and also because I can't imagine how they are going to spin it out to SIX episodes. I can think of very few people whose lives would merit six episodes.
But yes, I'll read some of the articles in the broadsheets and enjoy some of the discussions here and on twitter.
I didn't watch the Oprah interview either though of course there were clips on the news and so forth that I saw.

Diana was a Queen in peoples hearts.
Meghan is a Queen of drama.
The most dramatic drama queen ever. And now she has a starring role in her very own show. It's a NO from me.

Mojoj · 07/12/2022 18:40

Couldn't give a shit. They're completely irrelevant.

ShamedBySiri · 07/12/2022 18:41

Whilst they're over in America they could focus their energy on more deserving injustices such as the archaic abortion law, racial tensions with police brutality, gun laws, getting a first female President and stop voting for racist Trump.

And yes to all this @TeenyTomTilly

Sigma33 · 07/12/2022 18:57

tbh couldn't stand Diana's 'queen of hearts' cr*p either

JustGotToKeepOnKeepingOn · 07/12/2022 19:07

I won't be watching. I was supportive of H&M going off to do their own thing. Not supportive of this horrific need to wash dirty laundry in public.

AutumnCrow · 07/12/2022 19:15

I didn't especially blame them for pissing off to North America to get away from the Royal Family. Their lives etc. But Harry playing 'tell tale tit' for money and then not mentioning Andrew at all will be interesting if that's how the docuseries and the book pans out - I'm particularly interested in that one.

It'll be a barometer for me.

ThePoshUns · 07/12/2022 21:28

I'm looking forward to seeing them tie themselves up in knots.

Sunglasses8 · 07/12/2022 21:32

Honestly their attention grabbing is no worse than a TOWIE star’s.

I felt very sympathetic for them at first - the British press are vile and racist - but I believe they’re in this for the attention / money now. They don’t need either, but they’re hungry for more of both.

I won’t be watching!! I refused to watch their other interview either. And I resent Amazon trying to push Harry’s book on me. I’d be quietly unaware of it if it weren’t for all the buy-this nags. (I definitely won’t.)

RumblePhish · 07/12/2022 22:37

Me. The whole set up is ridiculous. Just because we as a nation are too lazy to sort out a modern constitution.

shard5 · 07/12/2022 22:46

I don't have Netflix but there'll probably be so many clips on you tube for anyone who wants to watch without a subscription.
