did anyone hear Frank skinner on the radio this weekend talking about Harry’s guitar playing in the trailer? He didn’t recognise the chords his hands show in the images so copied them; evidently Harry either doesn’t know how to play guitar but thought it made him look cool, or he was making a subtle statement about the harsh discordant sounds reflecting his situation. I think we can guess which it is.

Yes, I noticed that. His fingers look as if he’s trying to form a simple ‘A’ chord but he’s on the wrong fret.

Harry is behaving like someone who has taken leave of his senses. He’s a total loose cannon now.
Apparently he was in the habit of phoning the Queen a lot in the months leading up to her death. When he asked her for money she referred him to his father. When HM asked Charles why he wasn’t responding to Harrys calls he replied :‘I’m not a Bank’.

That does not include him - which is why, to be all Freudian about it, he has decided to use it in what I presume will be the negative part of the docu-series. H in a scorched earth 'if I can't have it, no-one can' shocker.

They actually didn’t want Frogmore Cottage , they asked The Queen ( told?) that they would like apartments in Windsor Castle but she said no and offered Frogmore . Apparently they thought HM meant Frogmore House so were a bit put out when it turned out to be FC .
Can’t remember where I read that but if I do , I will link .

I am a bit puzzled . I thought his book was to be about his life ( boy to man sort of thing) and the reality show ( oops documentary) was about THEIR story ? If the latter why include a photo from more than 10 years ago ?

Or the time when they were dating, and Meghan was out shopping. She supposedly walked up and down the street several times past the offices of one of the tabloids waiting for someone to notice and come out and take her photo.

I actually don’t recall them or her ever being chased or ‘hounded’ by the media in the UK.

I think the media in the UK have been called to account about their past behaviour, and H & M have Will and Kate largely to thank for this. I believe Will threatened and actually took legal action over intrusive pictures of Kate. This was behind H & Ms complaint of ‘they did it for her, why couldn’t they do it for me’. You’re a big girl Meghan and not afraid of a lawsuit, go for it.

@AutumnCrow it is, incredibly egregious. So much complaining about the press hounding them, yet they can’t come up with even a single genuine photo of it actually happening.

Like MM has ever not looked directly into a camera pointing at her, ffs. She could find one in the dark from 50 miles away.

Diana played cat and mouse with the media. Catherine didn’t seek the attention. The video insinuates Meghan received very little attention.

Meghan courting the press is addressed in the video. It insinuates Meghan did want the attention and tried to create a frenzy and it would appear she didn’t get harassed due to the agreements with the press to no leave the RF alone in exchange for certain access. If true she was walking up and down for an hour, this is very odd behaviour.

What the video omits is how Meghan was racially abused in the print. I didn’t see the articles until after the couple left the U.K. btw. But my understanding from what has been posted on previous MN threads is the foreign press was even more disgusting than the British press. So this should not be forgotten.

I note you say that it is William, who threatened the press. Harry could have and did do the same to some extent so I don’t understand what he wanted exactly from the palace. From memory of comments on previous threads, I think there were a couple of statements from Buckingham Palace but I’m not sure.

Harry seems to have a lot of amnesia on the treatment of his SIL. Or perhaps it is for a fair chunk he was in the militant? Idk. Meghan describing Catherine’s treatment on the TikTok as ‘Waity Katie’ is so dismissive.

Every woman marrying in to the RF receives what I would describe as a media ‘hazing’. No, it shouldn’t happen. However, comparing headlines on Catherine once she had for want of a better word ‘earned her stripes’ with the press 🤬 and those on Meghan are not comparing like for like. The POW went through the extreme harassment and misogyny then came out the other side before she married into the family. Ditto Camilla. Meghan still sadly hadn’t reached that point so it is inevitable there would be a different spin put on what at times boils down to the same behaviour.

This sounds plausible and IMO was likely one of the key reasons for Megxit. Apartments in Windsor castle would have enabled them to have HMQ's ear - and their own rival 'court' away from Kensington. And Meghan clearly wanted a big, ostentatious pile - not a cottage. Hence the mock-Spanish Mission pile in Montecito.

He rents (Frogmore Cottage) but unsurprisingly there's a financial conundrum attached in that the much vaunted repayment for the refurb suddenly got to include eighteen months 'market rent' without actually increasing

And this is why I assume absolutely nothing about the finances, especially when it's endlessly insisted that the taxpayer isn't funding them any more (via Charles or otherwise)

It isn't just H&M who've been shown to twist and lie - the whole damned lot of them do, so I find it a lot simpler not to automatically believe hearsay

Wouldn't Harry have known the difference between Frogmore House and Frogmore Cottage? I hope he didn't yet again omit some key facts when relaying info and conversations to his wife.

Second trailer has been released. Harry talks about the "pain and suffering of women marrying into the royal family" with clips of Diana and Kate being harassed by paparazzi, and a photo of Kate, Sophie and Camilla. So it looks a little sympathetic to the treatment they received as well maybe.
