Unpopular Opinion - William and Kate

Don't come at me, I'm sharing my unpopular opinion because I want to know what you all think but just don't see a spark between William & Kate.

Loved them since the day they starting dating way back when they were undergrads at St Andrews but I just don't see their connection in pictures and it seems a little forced when she has her hand on his back or when they do hold hands.

I don't expect them to hold hands and snog because I know they're mostly photographed whilst they're working but he looks bored and she looks like she's trying her best.

Does anyone agree with me?

I bet it was on twitter. The neckline of Sophie's outfit was similar and when I first looked at the image I thought the change in colour from the official photos could be down to lighting.

There is a lot of stuff out there at the moment and it's easy to make a mistake.

The trouble is though, another poster popped up straight away also claiming that Catherine was definitely at the banquet. So it does unfortunately make me suspicious

I can understand that those of us who tried to post through the Catherine conspiracies early in the year are probably a bit jaded.

I just thought that the initial poster was probably posting in good faith because of the lack of pseudo intellectual comment or hee hees etc. The tone seemed genuine.

I need to choose my words carefully here. We all know that there are many mischievious people who like to post false news on here. Yes there may be people who are genuinely mistaken. I have also been on here long enough that I recognise the tactics that posters use to " take the heat off " them shall we say? To quote MN you should always remember that anyone on here can claim to be anybody and never got too invested.

Very odd article in the DM today "Father of Prince William's and Kate's pal Rose Cholmondeley compares his stay at "paradise" country hotel to a spell in jail".

The DM is known to do this when they are trying to get something out there without spelling it out.

Is that so?

And what do YOU think they're trying to get out there, hmmm?

Incidentally, it's not an article. It's a piece in the social column; which also references Rose Cholmondeley's elder sister as well. What do you reckon the Mail's trying to say about her as well, eh?

I read that Meghan has been obsessed with Rose since she sat next to Harry at a state dinner when they were dating and that’s why the terrible rumors about Rose were started. That’s a shame if it’s true, as I think Rose and Harry were just friends.

I've read the DM article (bite me!)

It's a bit of puffery mentioning a number of people including Camilla's daughter Laura, the Earl of Durham et al. Although we all know that the DM is capable of "hints", I don't see one here and I think they might be on their best behaviour at the mo given the situation with Kate.

Also, if one of the pics of this hotel is accurate, I'm siding with Tim Hanbury!

Fascinating factoid about the Chomondeleys. Jack Huston (Boardwalk Empire, lots of stuff, good actor IMO) is the 6th Marquess's grandson on his mother's side and Anjelica Huston (those Hustons) nephew on his fathers. Also related to Siegfried Sassoon and the Rothschilds.
