Unpopular Opinion - William and Kate

Don't come at me, I'm sharing my unpopular opinion because I want to know what you all think but just don't see a spark between William & Kate.

Loved them since the day they starting dating way back when they were undergrads at St Andrews but I just don't see their connection in pictures and it seems a little forced when she has her hand on his back or when they do hold hands.

I don't expect them to hold hands and snog because I know they're mostly photographed whilst they're working but he looks bored and she looks like she's trying her best.

Does anyone agree with me?

Agree . Was Clinton not photographed on the Island and noted as being on Epstein’s plane ?

Far too few men have faced charges for their participation in this horrible abuse. Asking the question why others have not faced a court isn’t deflecting, it’s a valid question

I am talking purely about deflecting and attempting to downplay Andrew's role .

Actually, I am not a royalist lover, and dislike P. Andrew intensely, but not for this unproven allegation. I consider him arrogant, and there was a time many years ago when he sprayed media photographers with paint. He either did not know or care that their professional cameras cost a huge amount of money. (happened in 1984).

Not having paid much attention to Andrew until the allegations, I did watch his interview and I thoroughly disliked this pompous man who seemed to think Giselle Maxwell was unfairly done by.

(The only thing he said that I thought might be true was the non sweating thing -it can be a symptom of autonomic nervous system dysfunction. It can come and go. Caused by, amongst other things, viruses, stress overload).

Surely there are some great investigative journalists in the US who will investigate stories linked to some of those very powerful men in relation to their links with Epstein ?

The difference between Kate and Meghan is the whole of the vile right wing press are behind Kate and trash Meghan all the more in order to bolster Kate up.

I find the royal family’s relationship with the press disgusting.

Not a fan of H&M but find the family too dysfunctional and toxic to admire anymore.

Perhaps they are only free at weekends. You know - school, homework, chores, sports....they all take up time.

Every couple I know who are v tactile and overtly affectionate in public has a serious issue.

I agree with this. W and C are professional and behave with dignity when in public and for this I'm grateful. I often see little signs, touches and glances between them, though - a real spark, all the more sexy because they're trying to conceal it and keep it secret.

Harry and Meghan's (or, let's face it, I mean Meghan's) PDAs I find embarrassing, and I don't think I'm alone. The possessive, almost pathological clawing, rubbing his back (how patronising!), moonstruck gazing and eternal hand-holding at highly inappropriate times I find cringeworthy. But can't people see how performative it is? To me it looks fake, phony and very much 'over acting the part'. It doesn't convince me and in fact makes me suspicious about their relationship.

I found their determined hand-holding at the Queen's funeral was ridiculous because no-one else was doing it and it completely ruined the line of the procession (watch the video - it looks awful).

But it is coming from Meghan - Harry often looks embarrassed and irritated when she grabs him because he knows how to behave on official duty. I think it's all about the need for control and insecurity on her part, plus secret signals but of a controlling, not an affectionate, sort.

I do love how old threads are bumped. I love them even more when they name change or join MN just for the occasion. It is almost as though there is a natty little agenda for doing so…

I especially love ones who do it when my inner Nan is bubbling under the surface thanks to a day of death and destruction.

If today is national clown threadbumping day, I do apologise.

I am not sure why you think anyone would buy that a press which happily bullies George is in the pocket of the RF.

And this person of course was sure to tell us that they are "Not a fan of H&M".

That bit seems essential these days.
