Have heard a few comments from panellists and commenters thinking that Harry somehow wants to come back to the UK?

I highly doubt this. I think they are doing more than ok in the US.

A pity a positive thread has been deleted regarding the podcasts, maybe the positive conversation can continue here?

In particularly I wanted to highlight the announcement that they will be recipients for the Robert J Kennedy Human Rights award.

Telling him about the work MM had done, I can believe. She had already done the voiceover for Disney, so how is he 'touting' after the deal has been done and dusted?

As for him dumping the army for the event. What I know is that ForcesNet never complained. Then the DM trotted out a retired vet to slate him - whom, incidentally would not have been involved either way with organising the event. So something touted with absolutely no proof at all.

I think that you will find that things get reported all over the place, and there is usually one original sources quoted.

I assume that in the case of the Lion King, the primary source would be the film that was taken, together with sound, where Harry was clearly heard to say that Meghan could do voiceovers.

Whether Harry “touted for work” for his wife or not at the Lion King premiere, I find it odd that he would not have been at the memorial service, given that he was Captain General of the Marines and that he has subsequently expressed his dismay at having that title removed. Allegedly, the Army is important to him. It’s not clear if he was expressly invited to the Deal event, but I would have thought that the Captain General wouldn’t need an invite. Surely it would have been the right thing to do to attend? I don’t know if anyone with a military background knows any more?

I am wondering whether this is the business model being played out, not just the transition towards greater things. They have never protested enough about anything to refuse the paycheck. Periods of silence are always followed by cringeworthy PR stunts and hypocritical preaching. A few times per year, you get the publicized bouts of complaining.

I don’t think that the Forces would have said anything. Would it be appropriate for them to make comments about their Captain General? Like I said, maybe someone with a forces background could comment?
