Mike Tindall - I'm a Celebrity

Rumours circulating that he's signed up for the next series of I'm a Celebrity.
I know he and Zara have to make their own money but I find this tasteless and tacky.
Puts me in mind of the Royal It's a Knockout.
Surely they can't be that desperate for cash?

Maybe Kate and William on Location Location to find their next house to add to their collection?

Serenster · 12/10/2022 16:10

It’s a shame Charles an Camilla appeared on Eastenders earlier this year, really. Coronation Street would be far more appropriate 😉

Ohnonevermind · 12/10/2022 16:11

I’m imagining them all on Family fortunes. How many times would they get a X for ‘our survey said’ I’m not sure if it’s still on 🤣

I love this terse response which I will apply from now on to all who moan about Meghan's podcast.

"She has to make a living. Don't listen if you don't like it."

So some people just don't like M&H so everything they do irritates them.

But there are others who are fairly neutral to them as people but have criticisms.
of their actions.

It's not the 'doing' of the TV show or podcast - it's (some of) the things said or claimed in those shows that are criticised.

So at this point there's no criticism from me towards Mike Tindall for doing a reality TV show but we haven't heard what he's going to say / reveal about himself or others yet.

King Charles on shows about organic farming, or about traditional architecture
Camilla on shows about literature
William on shows about the environment
Kate on shows about children's education
Harry on shows about mental health, or the veterans
Meghan on shows about women empowering, or about her

Mike Tindall is generally a funny and likeable I'm a celebrity should go well for him. (See the growth in his social media following the Jubilee). The more public exposure he gets the bigger his following is likely to be. Not sure why this is being compared to the currently quite unlikeable Sussexes slagging of the RF trying to capitalise on their titles, endlessly talking about themselves or preaching about the clinate/vaccines/be kind while doing the opposite.

Lol!

I would LOVE to see this show.

antelopevalley · 12/10/2022 17:12

Why not a Royal Family channel with every show having at least one appearance by a Royal Family member however minor?
How to smock, featuring a guest appearance by Kate talking about Charlotte's smocked dresses.
Art history with guest appearance by Kate taking about her favourite painting.
The england football team with a guest appearance by George playing football with the team.

What a fabulous idea!

Triplecarbs · 12/10/2022 17:22

He’s a grade A arsehole! Isn’t he a cheater as well?

And your point? By that standard shouldn't one of the presenters step down for doing something illegal and even more morally unacceptable?

her point seems to be that she thinks he's an arsehole. I think that's allowed.

Triplecarbs · 12/10/2022 17:29

@Pixiedust1234 I don’t watch reality TV, but yesA&D are bellends as well!
Tindall loves his royal family connections. I wonder why his wife stays with him!

DuchessOfPort · 12/10/2022 17:31

When Mike Tindall demands to be half in and half out of a role paid for by taxpayers, patronisingly offers to “collaborate” with the monarch and sulkily manages to suggest his in-laws are racists without giving any credible information whatsoever on an American chat show, I shall compare him to some other royals.

it’ll be interesting to see him deflect questions about them though. If he thinks Harry is a bellend, I’ll defer to his greater personal knowledge of the situation.

worriedatthistime · 12/10/2022 17:41

@Triplecarbs do you know him personally then? And I think the cheating was debunked as such and was newspapers being as they are as its not just M&H they print shitty stories about

worriedatthistime · 12/10/2022 17:47

@notanotheroneagain again its not hard as another poster explained as to when ok and when it isn't
Also its about what is said , someone standing in a diy show jsn't very controversial
Appearing on a chat show discussing and making accusations with no proof is controversial its not hard to understand
Many of M& H podcasts go unnoticed apart from ones where maybe things are said which people disagree with or others come out and say this didn't happen
If Mike Tindall goes in im a celeb and says the wrong thing then he will also be criticised

Its about what you do and say and how thats recieved

antelopevalley · 12/10/2022 17:53

If Mike Tindall had an affair then his way of life is clearly in tune with the Royal Family.

Triplecarbs · 12/10/2022 17:54

@worriedatthistime A fan are you? There were pictures.

Triplecarbs · 12/10/2022 17:56

@antelopevalley Indeed!

If he cheated on Zara he's a fool. He really is punching well above..........

worriedatthistime · 12/10/2022 18:17

@Triplecarbs no not a big fan i do respect him as a rugby player yes , and what pictures the one in a group with girls etc , not exactly conclusive are they , plus really anything that happened is between him and Zara , no one knows what happens behind closed doors
But the pictures proved nothing at all

worriedatthistime · 12/10/2022 18:18

@antelopevalley very bitter about them aren't you

Coucous · 12/10/2022 18:34

Pinkcadillac · 12/10/2022 14:04

Tindall is not the equivalent to Harry, he's the equivalent to Lilibet's future husband. So in 30 years time, should Lilibet's husband be considered Royal? If so, should he refrain from doing tv shows, podcasts etc? (things all that Harry and Meghan are doing now BTW)

Why can't you say he's the equivalent to Meghan - they both married Lizzys grandchildren.

Pixiedust1234 · 12/10/2022 18:35

MurderAtTheBeautyPageant · 12/10/2022 17:28

her point seems to be that she thinks he's an arsehole. I think that's allowed.

My reply was based on the cheater part (ie morally unacceptable). I think that's allowed too 😉
