I'm sharing something I just wrote on my Dragon Lady podcast ep thread as I thought some of you might be interested:

Someone on the 'Positive' Archetypes thread in The Royal Family section tagged me asking me a Q, so I spent time writing a response and then pressed post, only to find the thread was deleted. This was the deletion message:

"This thread has been deleted
We've noticed a lot of sockpuppeting on this thread. Additionally we've received a number of reports. With this in mind, we've taken it down."

Interesting. And so not surprising. Readers of an earlier edition of the Courtiers thread will know that I said there'd been this sort of sockpuppeting going on years ago too in this section.

I wrote you a longish post in reply and then, annoyingly, lost it when I went to post but couldn't as the thread had just been deleted.

Come over to my podcast thread and ask there and I'll answer. I'm so tired I can't even remember precisely what you asked now despite only reading your post about half an hour ago!!

Interesting take on the reason she went to HR for mental health support that the Courtiers felt they were being set up.

Because there is something about that whole story just doesn't make sense.

I think their might be something in the theory that KC has effectively bought them out the book deal. Maybe he wants them to lie low until the Coronation. Then they can start working their way back into Royal life.

Or maybe Harry is realising he misses his Dad, Big Bro, and Cousins and putting the book out will kill relationships completely so tried to water it down making it unappealing to the publishers.

There's been a change in Harry's head somehow.

Sockpuppeting is where a poster is operating several different usernames on the same thread and pretending they are all different people.

Which will explain why some of the allegedly different voices on @MrsMaxDeWinter ’s Positive Archetype thread felt repetitive…

You (only) felt able to ask comfortably in the now deleted thread, the one that has been deleted because it was full of trolls, or one many-headed one?

I’m just here, not posting but am reading.

I changed my name a few weeks back to this one, to ask a question about travel. Never posted my thread to ask it, never permanently changed back. Accidentally posted under both a few times (weeks ago, not on any recent threads). Did this both on this board and on a thread of my own, Re: my neighbors.

So posts are under unname and this one. Not a secret, as I mentioned it before.

Would love to know specifics about the sockpuppets. I sometimes wondered if there were people posting completely opposite stuff under different ids, as the style of “debate” was so similar.

As a fun game in my head, I’ve assigned all of the characters here another, very different poster, as their sock puppet. 😂

Is it possible that the RF - i.e. PC/ KC would have paid them for the book? Depending on what the book may reveal, he may not want it out there.

I think it's more than possible Charles will bail them out although a second scandal-avoiding payout of millions on behalf of deeply unpopular non-workings is unlikely to play well with the peasants.

I think it's more likely that Chuck is bailing himself out more than anything. As someone suggested above, the book may have some negative things about Camy, I suspect also Kate. They (incl. PC and PW) have more to lose than anyone else.

You have inspired me to find the words I have been struggling to find to respond to you. In a post to @Coucous you gave the following advice, which I encourage you to take.

I’m worried about you, you seem to be taking your concern for what other posters are posting too seriously. You’re the one who seems the most stressed. Maybe concentrate on yourself and your own posts pet, and have a break from MN for a bit.

This thread has taken a disturbing turn with bullying and feelings of suicide ideation- please delete it and speak to some of the posters off the bosrds
