The Middleton's did a great job raising our future queen!

Kate has been fabulous since the Queen's death, such poise & self awareness. I think Carole & Michael did a great job & don't get enough recognition.
I don't know the family personally nor have i met them but there has never been tell all stories about them or Kate & Pippa which says alot..

The real reason for all this is MM came on the scene being more beautiful and charismatic than the rest of the family and she's not allowed to outshine the heirs.

Strangely enough their own mouthpiece, Katie Nicholls, once reported that KM made Beatrice cry. I think the DM was the original source. Strange, as they are always doing the PR for the rest of the royals.

This is interesting. It's hard to know but from what we see Bea and Eugenie love Meghan and still speak highly of her. I've never heard similar about Kate.

Meghan is more beautiful, although both women are good looking. Kate looks older lately.

Getting older generally has that effect on people, I find.

(Of all the misogynistic crap people throw at women in the public eye, criticism based on them aging is one of the ones I find most ridiculous. It’s not a moral failing - we all get older. Every single one of us who is lucky enough to remain alive past our youths. Depending on our genes, and whether or not we use cosmetic means to conceal the impact of the ageing process, we won’t all age at the same rate).

Yes Kate looks older than she did 5 years ago. So does Meghan. They both still look great.

Some people think Meghan is more beautiful than Kate, and some think Kate more beautiful than Meghan.

Having seen both of them in real life I thought Kate was the more beautiful. But that's my subjective opinion. They were both friendly and polite which is the more important thing.

Who cares. What they are like as people should be more important, than how they look. Mostly women seem to go on about looks, picking people apart, it is unpleasant .

If Kate was plain faced with wonky teeth I'm sure nobody would be singing her praises. I wonder if she'll be popular once her looks start to fade. It annoys me all the countless comments in the media about how "beautiful" she is. What if she wasn't. Why are her looks relevant.

The Windsors are no more Kate Middleton's family than they are Meghan Markle's. Charles has been scathing about his family and so have others. Interesting about possible altercations between KM and Beatrice.

I do not think Meghan is that beautiful and charismatic.
She is girly-pretty but not beautiful.
Charisma? I cannot see it at all. Copycat of every new trend. That for me means a complete lack of charisma and personality.

There were rumours around the time that the Cambridges got married that Beatrice would do things like invite Kate to a party and deliberately not tell her what the theme was so that she would feel awkward when she arrived. allegedly

I do accept that all the horrible comparisons to Kate because she was prettier etc must have been very hurtful. But none of that was Kate's fault.

@Arbesque i saw Beatrice in Harrords last Christmas & she is absolutely stunning. I would hate to think she would be nasty to Kate. Even dh commented on how striking she is in real life. Her hair & skin were so perfect, she is also tiny in real life. Extremely petite. Having seen Beatrice in real life she is much more striking imo than Kate or Meghan.. I would guess she's mid 30's but looked 10 year younger.

If it's true perhaps it makes it difficult for them to get on if Meghan spends more time with Bea and Eugenie . . . Was there something about them introducing her to Harry?

It would be nicer if they all got along!

For the record I think most people would look STUNNING if they lived in such pure luxury. Some people are lucky enough to be born that way!

I personally have always thought Bea and Eugenie are very good looking.

We aren't clones of our parents, whether Kate is a decent person or not is down to her, what her parents did or didn't do is irrelevant.

As you say, you don't know her or the Middleton's, just the public persona.

If you go down your school of thought, then the Queen was a poor mother because of Andrew but a great one because of Anne.

On second thoughts, i don't believe you re being serious, your post surely must be a wind up?

I've no doubt she is a nice looking woman in real life. I'm talking about the way the press and people on social media often compared her and her sister unfavourably to Kate. Particularly after the wedding.

I can understand that would be hurtful but Beatrice has aways come across as nice and unassuming and it would be disappointing to know she would behave bitchily towards Kate, who can't help being beautiful.
But it's probably another one of those rumours based on nothing much, that just grew legs.

They probably get along fine.

Whatever happened in the past it looks like Beatrice and Kate at least get along okay now - definitely since Beatrice had a baby - their hug at the carol service looked really genuine from both women - unlike Kate and Eugenie's greeting which was very awkward. When the kids were all playing in the carriage at Windsor there was footage of Beatrice's stepson playing with Louis and the Cambridge's nanny. Suspect the kids have brought them closer after seeing how nice it is that the Tindall cousins etc all play together.

Re the Middletons - from what Kate's said in interviews about her childhood it looks like they were very interactive and supportive parents who put a lot of time and energy into their kids' lives.

I'm not sure that necessarily is what gave Kate the poise and skills she had now - that could just be her own personality which seems to work very well in the situations she has to deal with.

I actually read it was the other way around! That Beatrice was invited to a costume party but deliberately wasn’t told that and ended up crying in the bathroom 🤷‍♀️
