Kate has been fabulous since the Queen's death, such poise & self awareness. I think Carole & Michael did a great job & don't get enough recognition.
I don't know the family personally nor have i met them but there has never been tell all stories about them or Kate & Pippa which says alot..

Because why should we credit Kate for the woman she’s become, the choices she’s made and the way she handles herself. It’s not as if she’s a 40-year-old woman with children of her own who has lived independently of her parents for longer than she lived with them.

Arbesque you are literally on every thread denying William's affairs. What is the issue with the guy having an affair? It's not a crime, lots of people have affairs. People know that William has had affairs. You're way too sensitive on the point.

And you are literally on all those threads also.
Why so determined to spread unfounded rumours around about someone else's marriage? It's not sensitive to object to that kind of damaging behaviour just for your own enjoyment. And of course it's not OK for married people to have affairs. It happens, but at huge pain and cost to other people.

MondaysChild7 infidelity has always transcended class boundaries!

Of course. But in most marriages it’s not an open secret, it’s outright betrayal and you can expect divorce to follow. As many threads on MN demonstrate.

pilates · 18/09/2022 21:13

@goodbyestranger - Who are all these people that know PW has had affairs?

goodbyestranger · 18/09/2022 23:21

Arbesque no I'm not on all those threads at all. I've been skimming over plenty and you're popping up with posts left right and centre, whereas I'm barely commenting.

goodbyestranger · 18/09/2022 23:22

pilates everyone in the circles that Kate and Will move in for starters, both in Norfolk and London.

I'm one of those people who's asked the question about William. I'm not doing it for enjoyment. I hoped William was a decent guy who's not felt entitled to other women because, you know, "that's what's always happened in our family". I hoped he'd not lied to Kate in front of millions on TV. I'd be very disappointed if he had, not gleeful or enjoying myself.

But can we give the Middleton's a bit of credit. I'm a similar age to Kate but there's no way I'd have had the maturity, self-awareness & confidence to infiltrate royal circles at such a young age..

She's been training for 20 + years for goodness sake. Nothing to do with being raised in anyway given she grew up in boarding school.

I mean - given you're on those threads declaring your feelings about how much you dislike H+ M and love K+W AND going along with lies extracted from tabloids, one might say you are also out to tarnish their reputation by spreading unfounded rumours about H+M . . . .

giveovernate · 19/09/2022 02:57

Wealthy family bring up child so they should be praised...... if have more praise for a single parent with limited money TBH!

No but you're lurking on them all.

In any event I can post on any threads I want. If that's your only comeback then it shows how weak your accusation against William is.

Where have I posted any negative posts about Meghan and Harry?
I think you must be confusing me with another poster.

pilates · 19/09/2022 07:05

@goodbyestranger so you know these people in Norfolk and London personally?

Cleanmean · 19/09/2022 07:09

I've absolutely had it with the lot of them. This whole episode has been triggering and gaslighting. Can't wait for it all to be over.

The only good thing to come out of it is that Charlie and the rest of his horse faced clan must now realise there are many many factions of this country who do not want a rf. It really should have all ended with the queen.

slipperfsce · 19/09/2022 07:11

There have never been any scandals about any of her family

Err the Uncle...

Topless photos of Kate, blowing up skirts - which is of course is ridiculous but definitely disapproved off.

Ladybyrd · 19/09/2022 07:11

Bleurgh.

I used to be a royalist. But now I have two kids.

Would it be right to give all my worldly goods to child 1, so long as I issue a press release saying how much I love child 2, wishing them well for the future?

It's utter bollocks all of it.

slipperfsce · 19/09/2022 07:13

She seems a nice enough woman but I think it's sad that in 2022 she is still expected to essentially be a Stepford wife. As someone a similar age, I can't relate to her at all.

pilates · 19/09/2022 07:15

Unfair to state the topless photos she was sunbathing privately and a photographer who was a couple of miles away zoomed in with a high tech camera. Completely out of order.

Or else, and more likely, you just assumed that anyone who likes William and Kate must also hate Harry and Meghan, and just posted an accusation without doing even a cursory checking of facts.

You should get a job on the Daily Mail.

I think Catherine, the Princess of Wales is a huge asset to the RF. There have never been any scandals about any of her family. I believe in the past Pippa turned down a six figure sum to discuss her relationship to Catherine and her children. Also you never see the Middleton's pushing themselves forward or seeking attention. So thankful Prince of Wales married into such a decent family.

That's because they aren't stupid. They are way better off being kept in the fold. They can leave all their money to their son who struggles. Life is good for them. Why would they blab?

slipperfsce · 19/09/2022 07:22

@pilates it did cause a bit of a scandal though which is ridiculous which is my point.

slipperfsce · 19/09/2022 07:23

Used to be also lots of press about Waity Katie, Middletons cashing in & Wisteria sisters or something. Sexist crap.

deedledeedledum · 19/09/2022 07:28

BlueKaftan · 16/09/2022 11:27

I don’t see anything so special about her. She’s a 40 year old woman who has had every privilege in life. And praising her parents is infantilising.

That says more about you than her. What about all the young people who are working in corporate positions. By 40 they would be partners in top firms meeting heads of industry if not heads of state. They would be making billion £ decisions affecting thousands of employees lives. But you go ahead and fawn over someone good at wearing pretty clothes and making small talk.

deedledeedledum · 19/09/2022 07:29

Oops @BlueKaftan that wasn't for you. That was for the poster who said she was amazing to be doing what she is doing. My bad

I thought Kate & Pippa were day pupils at Marlborough?
