I've seen a clip on Instagram where a group of women completely blanked MM when she spoke to them. It was awful to watch.
I feel so sorry for her, she didn't deserve that at all.
I saw another clip where someone had asked her for a hug, she obliged and when they hugged she really held the member of public and closed her eyes, it looked as if she really needed that hug .
No wonder she ran away from the UK

She does seem to lie as well - the story about how the actually got married 3 days before the Windsor Castle wedding? Bullshit apparently.

The story about the actor telling her that when she got married they celebrated on the streets like they did when Mandela was released? Bullshit apparently.

Incorrect. The DM quoted an actor saying this who wasn't even at the premiere on purpose to discredit her. This has being covered on other threads and there is footage of her deep in conversation with I think it is the composer who was the one that said this.

The wedding thing has been covered and explained too

Lipsandlashes · 12/09/2022 15:08

She is reaping what she sowed. Some people probably think after the Oprah interview, the Podcast, the book and the Vanity Fair interview, that she wasn't fit to polish the Queen's shoes.

Racists are the same everywhere.

Including on here.

Racism is trotted out to excuse appalling behaviour so often.

If what she asserts was true and she can prove it, and didn't muddy the waters with tripe about misquoting a South African actor, saying they got married before the televised wedding that was just for show, I'd applaud her.

ThickCutSteakChips · 12/09/2022 15:10

I also don't understand what M and H want to achieve. They did a huge 'truth bomb' global interview where they really laid into the Royal Family. OK, fair enough, speak your truth and all that.

But then literally a few weeks later their daughter was born and, of all the names they could have chosen, they chose a really intimate nickname of the Queen, that most people wouldn't have chosen even if they had a great relationship, because it would just seem inappropriate.

Like, are you in or are you out lads?

But even if it was true, wouldn't you be embarrassed to compare yourself to Nelson Mandela is any way? It's just cringe.

If as Meghan claims that the RF are so awful and racist towards her and the British public too, why was she even there.

Why would you choose to be associated with that calibre of people.

As for rudeness op, you must have missed literally everything she has done in the past two years since Megxit.

I wouldn't want to shake her hand either.

Can you articulate all the categorically untrue things she has said?

oakleaffy · 12/09/2022 15:12

JudgeJ · 12/09/2022 14:48

Yet she's pleased to come back when it suits her! As the saying from the North goes, 'she wants the cake and the ha'penny'.

Wants to cash in and get the “ Tidles”, and use said “Tidles” while selling stories - Leaving RF surely means abandoning any cashing in via Title use?
Definitely wanting both cake and ha’penny!

M&H exchanged symbolic vows before their wedding with the Archbishop of Canterbury and have the vows framed on their wall.

Why the furore? If K&W had done it you would have said it was romantic.

Nooo...they had a rehearsal.

Are you really so out of touch that you didn't know that is what it was?

MoodyMooToo · 12/09/2022 15:16

RheanaT · 12/09/2022 12:38

She didn't ask for a hug, member of the public asked her. Would help if you read the thread properly!
There was no excuse for such bitchy behaviour.
MM left because she refused to be bullied by the racist British media, and bullied by the Royal family.

Racist British media? That’s a very sweeping statement. Also there were accusations of bullying on both sides.

justasking111 · 12/09/2022 15:16

All the USA blah blah blah she's spouting ditto Harry won't have endeared them to everyone if we're being honest

OriginalUsername3 · 12/09/2022 15:16

I think when people talk about what Harry and meghan have done they conveniently ignore the constant bullying they both endured for years prior. Harrys family had the power to protect him and his wife from the barrage of abuse in the media. They chose to allow it. But have protected William.

They're both quite vulnerable people and clearly quite co-dependant. I hope their friends are remaining supportive and wish them all the best.

sidewayswalking · 12/09/2022 13:53

Megan dropped the bombshell of a racist remark within the family about the colour of a potential. child's skin. (Btw, not necessarily racist, but assumed to be.)

I would love to know how this could not be racist?

Two white people have a baby, one has pale goes red in the sun skin, the other has slightly darker skin which tans easily. I hope they inherit x’s tans easily colour.

AuntyDorisMum · 12/09/2022 15:17

Their private moment days before the wedding may be what they consider the moment they married. They may even have believed that it was

This gets more and more hilarious.

They had a rehearsal. Just like we did before our church wedding.
It was not a wedding though! There were no witnesses and no signing of the register.

If they are so dim they thought that was the actual wedding, a legal ceremony, God help them.

Exactly. I wonder about the people who seem to have so much time to ponder on all of these things. It should make no difference to their lives whatsoever what Harry and Meghan choose to do.

ThickCutSteakChips · 12/09/2022 15:20

M&H exchanged symbolic vows before their wedding with the Archbishop of Canterbury and have the vows framed on their wall.

That's not getting married though is it? And if you watch the video it was clear that Meghan is implying that the Windsor Castle wedding was not the 'real' wedding and that the A of C had actually married them 3 days before - which I also thought was really out of order to muddy the waters around his reputation as well, because it was so open to interpretation.

I agree. And still think the choice of Lilibet was insolent and shocking.

It’s all down to her colour, deny it as much as you want.
Kate will never do wrong in peoples eyes as she is the archetypal princess.
Leave Meghan alone.
People make all these assumptions like there facts about the Royals. None of you know the truth only they do.
it’s not Eastenders!

I hadn't heard that Kate did an interview on Oprah and wrote a tell-all book about the royal family. Interesting.

BellaCiao1 · 12/09/2022 15:21

mamabear715 · 12/09/2022 14:47

I am very offended that (a minority, it has to be said) are still using the race card re Meghan. Can you possibly cast your minds back to her wedding? How welcomed she was, how we all loved her? If she'd kept her mouth shut & worked hard like the Princess of Wales or the Princess Royal, we would STILL have loved her!
Ye GODS.

"If she'd have kept her mouth shut and got on with it"

Beautiful advice for any woman feeling abused.

Palmfrond · 12/09/2022 15:22

I’m not a fan of people being casually labelled racist for every little thing, but at the same time I’m betting the royal family are indeed quite racist. I used to be friends of friends with them (the royals, specifically the Waleses), and my friends bandied around really awful 1950s style language about non white, non British, non upper class people. This was a while ago, mind, but those type of people don’t seem to mix much with people who are t like them, not as equals anyway.

LadyKenya · 12/09/2022 15:22

MoodyMooToo · 12/09/2022 15:16

Racist British media? That’s a very sweeping statement. Also there were accusations of bullying on both sides.

Not really. The media have ways of manipulating the public to view members of certain communities in different ways. It is subtle, sometimes, but none the less constant.

AuntyDorisMum · 12/09/2022 15:23

When people start pulling the 'racist' card they have lost the argument.

I don't care if MM is pink, white, blue, black, brown or yellow, or all of them with spots on. And I doubt many people in the UK do either.

This is not about the fact she has pale brown skin.

I do care that she tells lies, sells her soul to US TV, and knows full bloody well that the RF are not going to go public to defend themselves, and say she is an out and out liar. It's bullying behaviour.

She left the UK for 'privacy' yet all she does it stir the pot and seek attention. For money and 'fame'.

Horrible behaviour.
