Meghan's long-awaited podcast has launched. Sorry if there's a thread about this already. Has anyone listened to it yet? Thoughts?

If MM is the interviewer every week, surely people tune in to hear the guests and not MM? And I think ambition is the perfect topic for Serena Williams. Being pushed by an ambitious father, spurred on by racial inequality and even at the end of her career fighting for the 24th win to equal Margaret Court. I'm looking forward to some really good documentaries about Williams when she's officially retired. I don't really think this interview will appear in any.

This is such a great quote from a pp. Somehow MM has forced her way into my consciousness even though I didn't seek her out. I could say the same of Kim Kardashian, Gemma Collins, Mrs Hinch etc. They are just people out there in the ether who I have 0 interest in and yet I know who they are and I keep being fed suggested stuff about them all the time.

There are loads of celebs I wouldn't necessarily know much about but who I Google to find out more - Serena being one of them.

You have to question her understanding of the reality that she lives in. Her use of language is very interesting - " married three days previously", "guttural", "fire in Archie's bedroom", "housing unit", the P & G anecdote.

My money is on them having him bring in a tray of tea in the next podcast. Then they can laugh at him again.

I didn't even know about Kim's children till they were so old - one they compared her beauty to Kim. Still don't know who her children are, except for North.

Know nothing about Gemma, except the fact that she has been massively trolled.

I'm slightly aware of other super stars like Harry Styles, Taylor Swift etc. but I cannot even name what they are doing.
Funny enough, I know the above and even Justin Beaber and Tom Hiddleston. Am aware they are all super famous, like their work even, but I don't know anything more.

So, you can avoid those you don't like.

It's worth remembering, though, that H&M were still working members of the RF at the time, and for obvious security reasons the palace doesn't always publicise where their members are staying - which in some lights could be considered rather convenient

ive just read the transcript. It’s so vacuous. Its such an important subject and I can’t help but think what would Michelle Obama have done with this subject and interviewee , instead of this blah what about meeeee rubbish

Imagine the uproar if Prince William said that about housing units.

Well Housing units are defined as single family houses, but even in the US they often mean affordable/ low income housing, so really no idea how someone can call the high commission residence a housing unit,

i kind of feel bad for whoever suggested putting the Heater in baby room, it was spring at that time but Cape Town gets quite chilly at evenings , so probably they were trying to make the nursery as comfortable as possible.

Perhaps if William said he was moving to a single housing unit in Windsor there would be less drama by posters.

I doubt it, Marsha; after all unicycling requires a great deal of skill, and Harry did after all say he was never able to go on bike rides

While I agree, there's nothing new in this; far too many of today's interviewers can't resist making it all about them, and on previous form it's hardly likely Meghan would pass up an opportunity to do the same

Indeed. I was a bit perplexed when this whole whole bizarre Megan Markle previously being connected with Piers Morgan was a talked about thing, that really seemed like an odd mix - but maybe they had more common ground and interests than we all realised. Those being talking about themselves, being obsessed with themselves and having their own heads firmly lodged up their own arses and not knowing how to conduct an interview properly.

Meghan is making sure everyone knows Harry is the performing monkey and she is the organ grinder.
