As the other thread has filled up I wondered if anyone would like to discuss the book here. I’m listening to it on Audible now.

Exactly. All 'sources' claim the red carpet was practically laid out with all the best staff on hand to support and guide. Maybe they weren't escorted to Harrods shopping but I bet they had everyone nodding and encouraging in every possible other matter.

The problems seem to have started when Harry was told no, you can't do that.

I believe it was shopping in Windsor. Might have that wrong.

Would you like to further inform us where the shopping location was, as you seem to know? I did say I might have got that wrong.

But that proves my point, who on earth would care to know if it were Windsor as opposed to Knightsbridge or even Brent Cross? So much detailed knowledge!

The red carpet was indeed rolled out, but I do have on quite good authority that individual good will was reined (or even reigned!) in when it transpired that notes were being taken . Whether it was just a clumsy Instagrammy mistake or a planned advance diarisation, who knows, or just that Kate didn’t much like her, but something caused a schism which just got worse.

I’ve a feeling it was Kensington high street from one of the older threads. I remembered
as I shopped there once or twice but never shopped in Windsor when I lived in London (more of a selfridges person myself)

Yes, it makes sense to come close to another married in. Even Fergie and Dii seemed to have some kind of unity, knowing their status as married in.

I remember it as Kensington Palace gates. MM saw KM driving out and she didn't stop to offer her a lift. But I can't see it being a big deal. MM even said in her OW interview that everyone in the family was great to her before she got married.

Wonder if this service will take place three days early too.
