As the other thread has filled up I wondered if anyone would like to discuss the book here. I’m listening to it on Audible now.

No. He wasn't living here in 2021. I remember him coming, I think that's the one where the paps were following him.

I really don't think that after being their Patron for 15 years, he just hands over to another 'celeb'. (I made a mistake, he's been patron since 2007)
Here's a thought... the Charity might mean a lot to him. He has certainly made the effort over all these years.

Judging by the comments on Twitter ( many now hidden) a lot of people are not impressed that someone who ( allegedly) bullied a 3 year old is delivering attending .

I hope you like the fulsome statement from the Organisation, they sound delighted to have Meghan, Trudeau and others speaking.

I am not talking about the organisation , I am referring to the hundreds of comments . I am on holiday so spent a lazy time reading them . Plus other stuff , I hasten to add !

I have seen very many positive comments, but there are always haters out there for everyone famous. To harp on about this 'incident' that no one knows what happened, is pretty pathetic, so I am glad you said 'allegedly'.

So this someone who allegedly bullied a three year old, not only got an apology note from the child's parent but flowers too - flowers thrown in the trash not withstanding. Said parents still let the child participate in the bully's wedding. Said parent also wished the alleged bully Happy Birthday a couple weeks ago.

Fascinating.

Comments on the internet are always a mixed bag, I'm sure you know that. Anyone can make things up too. Did you know that William cheats on Kate with Rose Hansbury? he likes getting pegged allegedly.

Sorry but it’s not strictly true to say no one knows what happened. There were several people there and rumours have circulated since the wedding . I hope they are simply rumours .
I don’t hate MM . I dislike a lot of things that she and H have done . There’s a difference as I am sure you will agree .

Those are pretty tame tbh. I see some comments about the Clintons/Gates/Obamas and I shudder.

There are all sorts of rumours about all sorts of things. I'd hope the Cambridge's did not force poor Charlotte to participate in the wedding of someone who [allegedly] bullied her, that would be most troubling to me.

It would have been extremely odd and prompted even more speculation if George and Charlotte had been removed from the wedding party but it was noticeable at the time that as soon as the ceremony was over W and C kept the 2 children close by them.

Interesting. Still doesn't explain the apology note and flowers. Why would you apologise to someone who ~allegedly~ bullied your child. I would be LIVID 😥

Where are these rumours from by the way? surely not these twitter accounts dedicated to hating Meghan 24/7.

Bower has only gone as far as stating that Charlotte was compared unfavourable to Jessica's daughter [who he wrongly claimed was Meghan's God daughter].

I haven't seen much meet on the bullying claims anywhere.

Course they did, they were tiny! Any Mum and Dad would be doing the same.

MM says it was an apology . Other reports say it was a peace offering as things were so fraught between the families . Haven’t we all tried to make peace with someone at sometime even though we didn’t really wanted to ? I have , (through gritted teeth ).
Knowing that there were already rumours of rows and general discord , I wouldn’t be surprised if Catherine tried to smooth things over.

I am sure the truth will eventually come out . These things have a habit of doing so .
