It was just a light-hearted comment, @notanotheroneagain , in reply to your 'shows the understanding level of some posters on here' comment. It really doesn't bother me if you think I'm thick, or whatever else you were implying, and I don't care about the book that I won't ever buy or read. I was just having a joke with you over, let's face it, a nonsensical thread about a book that no-ones read and lies that might not even exist. Surely no one is taking any of this seriously? But I don't want to upset anyone's feelings so I do take "Maybe you should stop getting personal" as that I have overstepped someone's boundaries. I never make comments about people appearance and I've never made any about yours. Where I come from saying, you bring out the worst in me, is just like, you bring out the mischievous side of me, nothing nasty, I assure you.

Anyway, never mind. I think you are a lot more invested in HAM than me and so you're sensitive if someone pokes fun at them. I guess that's understandable. And, actually, even quite sweet really so I'll leave you to it.

You seem to have misunderstood, as I thought you were accusing ME of affecting you personally (ie. bring out the worst in me comment). As I am not personally affected by anyone on here, I don't have any behaviour that I attribute to anyone here.

When someone says something I disagree with, I have a right to say it, as much as anyone else has a right to state their opinions on H&M on here.

I don't like ill-feeling with people, Wolf. I'm happy to stand my ground over important issues. But HAM are just fluff to me. Just a bit of gossip. And I really don't want to hurt the feelings of anyone to whom they are clearly much more important.

Nooooo. I thought we were just having a joke about you not wanting lies in the book and me saying they'd be great. And then you said, you would, wouldn't you. I thought we were in on the joke together. But then you said I'd been personal towards you....

The book will have been reviewed by lawyers to cover themselves from being sued so unlikely anything made up will make it to publishing

So sorry Marsha, so used to attacks from H&M critics, when they have no argument that guess it was an automatic response and assumption. As I said, I don't take posts personally, so I don't even check what they generally post, or store names in mind etc.

If she takes after her mother he's got another five years or so keeping his powder dry.

He's losing drawing power by the day, the excitable execs with mega deals are cooling while the bills are mounting inexorably.

The choice of title is interesting. M was only in the family for five minutes and yet a whole war ensued that merited revenge. Is Bower implying that M came into the RF with a pre-planned agenda to disrupt?

Not to "disrupt", I think, but to move her Prince and his title to a place where she could be the Star. Where it's not all all determined by birth order.

TBH, I started reading excerpts and sounds like Bower’s book is driven by the accounts of bitter white men - unfortunately including the Duchess’ own excuse of a father.

So I thought, who is this author:
white British male, married to an ex-editor of a London right-wing tabloid, dabbled in Marxism in his youth. Same ole’.

Another greedy white male looking to profit off the (biracial) woman he clearly looks down on (and thinks has no place being a Princess of the United Kingdom), and hell bent on destroying for profit. He has clearly been fed by the same “Palace Sources”.

A pass for me.
