Thomas Markle coming to UK for jubilee

So Thomas has announcement on GB news just now, they are going to pay to help bring him to the UK for the queen's jubilee and would love to meet Charles and Harry / Megan if they turn up, should be intesting. He would dearly love to meet anyone from the royal family as he feels they have much to discuss. I hope it goes well for him.

The children don't have grandparents on either side, they have been cut off from everyone that loves them. They are missing so many happy childhood memories, connections, celebrations, weddings, babies being born - grounding and 'knowing who they essentially are' and where they come from. The poor children are rootless without family. I hope Dora is on the scene still, but I heard even she had taken a step back and is rarely seen anywhere.

She posted a number of fake posts on the Tig account to create an attractive lifestyle blog. I can wager a bet this was one of them 😂TM would have talked about it in his interviews if it had happened.

I don't think your grandson's, wife's estranged father counts as family honestly your perception of the situation is insane and not even a little bit representative of the U.K!

They are not 'poor' children, what nonsense. They are much loved children with adoring parents. They are not rootless. Do you imagine all families have cousins and aunts and uncles who live round the corner? FYI, they don't. As long as they are loved and cared for, which they obviously are, they'll be fine so if I were you, I wouldn't worry on their behalf. Yes, this. The week before my sister and I went NC, I'd have said we were close albeit with some underlying issues and differences. I was aware of them, she was aware of them but we'd ignored them in the hope that our "closeness" was more important. Until we couldn't ignore them and it all went tits up spectacularly.

Harry has given several interviews talking about his family problems and his grievances. Why is it wrong that Thomas wants to give interviews. Its always so one sided with them. I don't think Thomas will come to the UK.

Nonsense. Children need very little to have happy stable and consistent lives. Ideally that will include being surrounded by those who love you and not exploit or place you in danger.
Looking around the Mumsnet boards very many people have had terrible childhoods or have horrible partners. Many of those people have been forced to find consistent arenas and love for themselves and their children. They have been abandoned or forced to go NC in order to preserve themselves or the safety of their children.
This is what has happened with the Duchess of Sussex and her father. He placed untold stress upon her and since then has dragged her through every gutter appearance he can spouting whatever the gutter wishes him to. At one point threatening more and more damaging interviews until he got what he wanted.
Now he is coming to the U.K. during HMQ’s Jubilee. This is being orchestrated by GB news to make an appearance by the Duke and Duchess untenable. Markle knows this but wants his payday.

The Duchess has good and close contact with her mother Doria. Again, even if she did not we all form our own foundations. If they become shakey you dig up and rebuild. He and Samantha, we’re discarded years ago.

I don't think there will be anything interesting arsing from his potential visit. Though they'll probably get him in to some of the public events (maybe even a corporate box at The Derby) but I expect that'll be all. I don't see how that'll sustain viewers' interest for more than a 30sec 'so what?'

Because I don't see how he can out across his side of how things went from his other daughter's public absolute praise of him, everything he did and his huge support for her, to utter breakdown to the extent that he didn't have even the briefest of meeting with fiance before engagement publicly announced. Shortly after which the wheels fell off completely. Because it would be very wrong to decide unilaterally to discuss inner life life of a family in public

Poor bloke. The usual suspects will accuse him of lying, just like they did with his heart attack which was proven to be true. Stress and upset can cause ill health in elderly people.

MM stitched her Dad up like a kipper so she could ditch him as he was an embarrassment to her when she got a foot into the RF, He was a highly respected lighting director who’d won awards, not a deadbeat Dad or a criminal. He raised her and she spoke fondly of him. She certainly had a relationship with him up to meeting Harry.

I wouldn’t be surprised if the photo offer was a set up. What better way to get rid of him but to shame him and claim he was using her fame for cash. He only did that as a misguided attempt to improve his slobby image although he was retired so entitled to look like that, and didn’t expect pictures of him looking less than presentable to be on the cover of newspapers all over the world and the press to descend on him I expect. That’s exactly what her and Harry are doing right now with the RF, making money off someone else’s name, his Grandmother no less. Harry never even deigned to meet Thomas and she obviously didn’t make it s dealbreaker. She didn’t want Harry to meet him. He might have changed his mind. Never even visited after his heart surgery.

It was totally understandable that Thomas would be angry at being offloaded and if they left no way to communicate and he had the press at his disposal, well few people wouldn’t use it. Especially with not being allowed to see his GC.

I doubt she’ll see him even now he’s very ill again. She’ll embarrass herself. She is a user and a grifter IMO and this with her Dad is the very reason I can’t stand her.

Are you suggesting TM hasn’t had a stroke ? From what I have read , the family didn’t want the news released but someone from the hospital leaked the news..
Whatever TM has done / hasn’t done , surely we can wish him well ?

Its weird how some people rubbish others comments as ‘how do you know’ and ‘you’ve no evidence’ and then insert their own opposite narrative which they have no evidence of either.

I just think it’s appalling that GB are stirring the hornets nest like this. Reporters trying to boost their ratings by egging this rather sad and delusional man to wash his dirty linen in public.. AGAIN. It’s a private family matter and they should argue behind closed doors. The whole thing is just so tasteless and embarrassing.

It's really awful but I couldn't help be suspicious of the stroke story.

Especially after the heart attack before the wedding.

And I know that's dreadful.

And if he's had a severe stroke I of course wish him all the best for his recovery.
