Meghan has complained about Amol Rahman’s podcast

She has complained to the BBC that he said on the podcast that she “misled the court” in the Daily Mail case.

I thought she apologised for misleading the court and insisted it was inadvertent?

AR’s BBC documentary seemed quite pro-Sussex, so this is confusing.

I hadn’t heard of the podcast but will have a listen now. (Streisand effect rides again,)

Is there some difference between British and American English that might explain this? I cannot figure it out,

A lot of announcing, phoning people to tell them what they think , and spouting off. Donations which aren’t their own money. Much of it to raise their profile so they can generate money for themselves.
Harry’s charities were doing a lot do good, but they seem to have been pretty inactive. Most due to the pandemic of course.
Apart from pronouncements and money raised with little involvement from themselves , no personal donations , they are sitting feeding chickens and trying to promote themselves any way they can .

If they gave up their luxury lifestyle, stopped suing everyone they can think of and actually did some work, that would be putting their money where they mouths are.

Why does this bother you and why should they? You aren't paying for it! Do you ask the Beckhams to give up their luxury lifestyle and put their money where there mouth is? Or any other famous rich couple? Or K&W? Should they do that, after all, we're paying for them and they're off on a luxury tour of Jamaica and Bahamas...

No one wants to control what they do. However they aren’t philanthropists by any means. W and K are doing their job for the RF. I think their tour is I’ll advised, but they’re doing what they’re told.
The Beckhams don’t claim to be humanitarians. David Beckham earned his money.

I don't think there's any stomach for moaning about M&H at the moment, they're hardly doing anything wrong and good on H for suing AP for yet more lies printed about him, I wish more ppl would take a stand against them

I was going to say that even MN has died down recently with the new anti M£H threads.
But they are still just getting on with their lives and if they feel they need to sue then that's their choice. Thanks for the link to the NAACP award @Roussette and agree with pp who said that those dismissing this obviously know very little about the history of the organisation

Agree . W and C have been asked to go to Jamaica etc as part of the platinum celebrations. Edward and Sophie are visiting other Caribbean islands although I am not sure the tours will go ahead.
If HM or the FCO asks them to go they can hardly say no !

They can do what they want and you can ignore it you know....

It’s easy to preach to others about how to live and make Emory comments to keep themselves in the news. They don’t sacrifice their own time or money to help others in any significant way. Handing out a few parcels with cameras present or turning up at a woman’s refuge with the press don’t really cut it. Everything they do is to fund their own lifestyle. Perhaps if they did something useful with their time they might not fire off lawsuits every five minutes. If they want to live in luxury wirh no useful employment fine. Just wish they’d shut up and live quietly. Give up issuing statements and throwing tantrums.

How dare you. I will not be going into, in detail, what my work has been before I retired, but to have YOU post a libellous and untrue load of lies about me is abhorrent. I did not put together the collage, it's all over Social Media. I see no reason why you should be concerned about someone who has obviously slapped together receipts that they own in a positive way.

Surely, the concerning people are the ones who hate (oh but they say they don't hate them, just dislike) H&M and yet keep an eagle eye on them and have delusions on their minds that they are policing them. it sounds odd and stalkerish.

I think the collage is to prove a point - and I guess it has. It's the same as but more effective than a list of links as you can see what you need to with one click.
