I’ve held a couple of PT charity posts. Boards and so on. I wouldn’t dream of putting in a petrol claim or whatever to a charity unless I really needed the expense covered to be able to help. I can remember claiming back tube fares when I was 19 and skint.
Surely if you are handed millions upon millions of pounds for no effort of your own you don’t penny pinch or consider charity work “business”?
If he’s doing that will it be published in accounts? I’m not really clear on what kind of business entity he and MM have.
I would ignore that post if I were you.
I don't see how he would make the charity pay tbh. Most likely, he offered to come see them. The charity says he spoke to every family individually. He has been keeping in touch with them.
As most of his family and friends are here, I think he would likely come over to the UK several times a year. He may want to meet Forces, Invictus and he has Travelyst too. He has never had any problems with Sentebale and his animal charities in Africa before, except for Covid, I think he will just carry on as usual.
