What's everyone's thoughts?

I don't either but the crazies will be frothing even more.

I guess the queen will either be pissed off or delighted and we are unlikely to ever find out which. On past form it seems unlikely that the queen had any prior knowledge of or right of veto over the name.

It seems like a bit of a joke name if it's the name the queen used for herself as she couldn't pronounce her own name properly as a child. Why not Lilibet Di Di Emby Ten Windsy?

Also, lovely news for Meghan and Harry - as it would be for any other couple. Honestly, people get so dramatic and invested in the lives of the royal family to the point where they can claim to hate/dislike or even know the motivations of a woman they've never bloody met.

All I can find is references to some article in The Scum, which referred to "sources" (AKA the press made it up), so unless I missed something I'm not sure there's proof it came from H&M?

They could have named her Emily or Doria or Rachel or Savannah but instead tried to emphasize the relationship to the Queen. After how they have disrespected her. Talk about nerve.

Just googled Lady Louise and she seems to be referred to as Louise Windsor in most articles (not Mountbatten-Windsor or Wessex)

Edward and Sophie’s daughter is referred to as Lady Louise Windsor - they announced this shortly after her birth. But her name on her birth certificate is Louise Alice Elizabeth Mary Mountbatten-Windsor.

No idea what you are saying. I have said all along that the surname of Mountbatten Windsor is their choice given their circumstances, and what the Queen says should be used if a surname is needed. So you are not correcting me anywhere! Honest guv...

@Scrambledcustard she was intersex and not transgender. She’s had all minor corrective surgery, and was even planning on having a biological child so she was fertile, not a hermaphrodite. I suggest watching her videos explaining her childhood and situation, it’s much better than any of the gutter press articles written about her. Last post on this thread
